Would be surprised if we were realistically going to pay for the latter as I think he'd be valued (rightly or wrongly) out of our willing-to-pay price range.

Jelle Vossen could be true though, and would be a really decent addition in my opinion

The Vossen rumour was mentionned last week in the Belgian newspaper. Celtic would have approached Genk but they said they wanted 8M euros.
But now that Genk brought in Mboyo from Gent U never know ...

They signed the average Mo Bangura for £2.2 million and just loaned him out for 2 seasons after being too quiet for us - basically throwing their money out the window. Football is for the fans and Finnbogason is who the majority want, so why can't they just match the 5 million for a player who will do 10 fold the job of Bangura for not much more than twice the price? The guy looks better than Hooper and that's saying something, he even has a good free-kick on him. Just put the bid in now ya *!

 

I believe this guy could be sold for more than hooper if he proves himself ... So why not give them the money we received for hooper! I think the board are being tight as * tbh but I see the point aswell that team need any money they can get and they are just riding ther luck if others are interested why are there no bid surley any other team would easily spend this sort of money I think they are tryingn to con us

 

Then the board will suddenly become a bunch of fannies who can't spot a player!

Seriously though... who the * from these shores really knows all that much about Finnbogasson (other than what they've seen on a highlight reel... or what they've been told by someone else, who was told by someone else, who was told by someone who once watched him play for Hereenven.

He could be a superstar in the making, but right now, I know * all about him!

I sincerely hope the hype is accurate!

 

The two seasons we've loaned Bangura out we've received around 1.2 million per season in loan fees so we've actually made our money back on Mo. Need to sign Finnbo up though!

 

He's on international duty anyway so won't be today.

Who really knows anything about most of the players Celtic sign? Did anyone watch a Scunthorpe game before Hooper came or a Beerschot game before Wanyama's signing? His scoring record speaks for itself, 28 in 33 games last season, 12 in 17 before that, so he can obviously bag the goals! Get him in and pay the money!
