Well guys, our season could not have started any better. A 4-2 victory against AZ. Our friend Finnbogason scored 2 and he had the assist on the other 2 goals. And to be honest, he was rubbish in the first half:smiley-laughing002:.

I thing his transfer value is increased by another half a million after tonight. *, august is a long month.

 

Can't understand why we're waiting to make a move, for Finnbogason or any ST!!!

We've lost Hooper, Lassad and Miku - with only Balde being signed!

Don't need to be a brainiac to figure out we're 2 ST's down - most importantly a 30 goal a season ST!!!

If £4m-ish is what it takes to sign this lad and he's top of Lenny's list then just get it done!!!

We are waiting on qualifying for the champs league mate. We dont speculate to accumulate. We speculate then wait then wait and then try to accumulate when its too late.

 

Having supported our glorious team for many a year I'm more than aware bud - just stating the obvious this time - Hooper needs replaced by someone who can do the same job and the likelihood is that means paying a little more than usual. So why wait?

CL or not we need a number one ST!!!

If we wait too long, it's too late and we end up with a player like Doyle!

I think if we get past Elfsborg we will spend a few bob on a striker to help us get through the play offs. At least we would be guaranteed some form of European football at that stage. However it is a big if as Elfsborg seem like a hard to beat well organized outfit. The second leg is poised perfectly. Could go either way.

 

What happens if by some awful chance we don't get through? Is the cheque book put away??

Seems totally crazy to be gambling on qualifying without another striker having been brought in. It's not as if we don't have the money!!!!

 

I think the better class players are waiting to see if we qualify first, nothing to do with us not stumping up the money.
