I don't think he is *. He has improved massively since he joined Celtic. In his first season, in my opinion, he wouldn't be able to put in the performances he has in the CL.

I wouldn't be so sure. Although it goes against his stats, I think his best season was his first. At least in terms of performances.

 

Pretty sure Heerenveen are * financially. £4.5 million should hopefully be enough.

There's no doubt that he would be the most exciting signing we have made in a good few years if we managed to get him here.

It would be a real sign of intent from the board if we splashed the cash for Alfie. Looks like the perfect replacement for Hooper to me.

The Twitter account that posted it (@BackPage) has over 35,000 followers. Not sure how reliable it is though.

 

I'd cream myself if we got this guy.

 

Not believing a Twitter account. 99% of them speak utter rubbish.

No doubt hundreds of Celtic fans were tweeting that account asking if we were in for Finnbogason, he then tweeted we were in for him.

Plus, if we were "preparing" a bid, how would anyone other than Celtic know? This account posts about every big team, surely the user doesn't have high up links at every club.

 

I reckon not one person tweeted that account asking that. If so very, very little people did. It's not got as many followers as a lot of bullshit spouting twitter accounts. Plus it has it's own website, give it a look. Going by their tweets and articles, seems as though they only comment on things that really are happening rather than making up rumours.

Hopefully they are keeping it up.

I dunno. I think just about everyone of these accounts talk rubbish.

They just post realistic rumours and once in a while get them right - prompting people to believe them, while the false rumours get swept under the carpet.

I still don't know how the user would know about a bid that hasn't even been made. Would Finnbogason's agent even know about Celtic preparing a bid?

 

I know what you mean, I don't believe it either but it looks a bit more genuine than the usual stuff.

Unless Celtic had already contacted Finn and found out if he would be interested or not then I doubt the agent would know.

 

Such a reliable account that it's got his goal tally wrong by 10 more goals than he actually got.
