    This could be true, but people are forgetting that getting a striker in for the qualifying was the aim, which is why everyone is chomping at the bit here.

    I know I want a striker in as well but I suspect he'd only come if we were guaranteed to be playing in the group stages. Unless we make a move for him if we make it to the play-off stage, another step closer to the group stages he might consider it. I certainly think we could afford him, all about if we make the move and whether he sees it as a good step in his career.

    I know he apparently would like to play here, his idol was Larsson blah blah but at the end of the day he will have other options if he wants to leave, in better leagues than we play in, all we can really offer is the Champions league, and even that is not guaranteed right now. I was excited about this last night but I'm trying to be a bit more realistic now and not get my hopes up:smiley-laughing002:
