Seems unlikely we'll have anyone in time for the qualifier as the bhoys fly out sat after the aberdeen game.

that and the fact NL has continuously said in the media that were trying to bring a cppl more in this week :86:

think the clubs doing the usual. Buying players for cheap 1.3 mill (balde) van dyk - 2 mill etc. I understand n don't mind but with a striker needed for CL , we need to pay for quality. We sold Hooper for 5 n were probably offering him to be the top earner so why not use the 5 mill u got from selling him n buy a sttriker like finbo (young, proven and wage reasonably cheap)

Why don't we get 500,000 Celtic supporters and each chip in a tenner

I think if we all chipped in the Tenner then we would save a lot of people on this thread going into a deep depression :)

What part of "am skint" don't you understand?...:smiley-laughing002:

Seriously I've always dreamed of an idea like that, Cologne done something like it to buy back Podolski for 10m euros did they not?

Why do Celtic not just walk away from the Icelandic boy, the price has been going up & up, forget it & move on, the boy Teemu Pukki looks a better finisher in any case & plays in a higher standard of football, Celtic should try their hand at Pukki.

He is in no way a better finisher because he would be scoring a lot more than he is right now, even though he comes on as a sub for most games. Pukki is decent but I wouldn't want him on his own, only if a poacher is bought along with him, like Finny or Hosiner or whoever else who regularly gets a good goal tally for their club.

hahaha, you cant be serious that you wouldn't look at the boy pikku, the boy can finish as good as many high earners in the game, his footwork looks fantastic & score all types of goals & not in too shabby a league either. What has driven so many supporters on here towards the Icelandic boy, none of us had heard of the boy before looking at his you tube video, which there isn't many of. Pikku has a year left on his contract, they bought him for 1.5m good time for Celtic to test the waters.

Who the frigging * do you rate yourself as you clown, You jump on the band waggon claiming an unknown Icelandic is our savior lol, the guy never been heard of either. Leave the running of Celtic to the people who get paid to do that job & whom have more football knowledge than you will ever have. The club has been run well for the last few years by the management & board & achieved everything that everyone applauded last year, so leave it to them & who gives you the right to call anyone a fud...you loser....

Yeah, supposedly they contributed €1m to the transfer....I'd say you should muster a Tenner from somewhere because when he gets sold to Real Madrid for £50m, you'll be kicking yourself when we're all making our dividend :smiley-laughing002:

Finish as good as many high earners? Why aren't Schalke playing him ahead of Huntelaar and why aren't other teams interested in him? And don't make assumptions, I knew about Finnbogason and suggested we sign him back in April!

    http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?p=3419241&highlight=Finnbogason#post3419241

I have seen Pukki in the Bundesliga on a regular basis and he is a pretty decent player, but he is not the man to replace Hooper, end of. You probably never heard of him before this thread was started so you're doing the exact same thing you're criticising others for! You cannot base a player off 5 or 6 goals in a YouTube video which you seem to be doing with Pukki. He would be a good signing along with a poacher like Finnbogason but not on his own as the man to bag us the goals in Europe, because he isn't suited to that role!
