Ok but not to replace our main goal threat is just criminal, but that isn't my main gripe with the board they have always taken the fans for granted, but this season is just taking the complete and utter *

I don't know what's wrong with getting into a bidding war? It would look good on us if we were to beat a team like Lazio to finbo....it would install a bit of respect to us in the transfer market....There should obviously be a point where we have to stop bidding, somewhere under £7m in my opinion, but we shouldn't be refraining from spending that on a quality player after the season we've had in terms of income

re. guidetti who some people have mentioned - the boy looks very good from the games ive seen of him, but he has struggled with injuries quite a bit so i would be a bit worried if he was brought in as a first choice striker.

finnbo and guidetti together would be nice, but then i would worry about tony's role in the squad as i dont think he would get a look in.

if we dont get finnbo, then i think a good shout could have been wissam ben yedder - 15 goals in ligue 1 last season for a mid-table team is a decent return. only 23 and still improving. only thing is, signed a new contract last week until 2017. probably could have had him for about 4mil

im sorry to say it, but i think we'll be getting doyle

I've only started checking this once or twice a day now, it's become tedious and boring.

If that is the case then let's hope they're making moves to sign a forward who they do consider value for money.

On a positive he also states Forster won't be sold for £5m!

You think that Marco Van Basten telling him not to come to Scotland will be the deciding factor on where he goes?

Not according to the men in charge. An £800,000 bid would have seen us get him without too much trouble.

Rest assured, if Celtic offered his club a suitable fee, and offered him a decent contract I doubt what Van Basten says will play much part in it. We likely won't do any of that though, so it doesn't really matter.

Had a dream last night we bought him for £5.5 million, as reported in the Sun.

we all know we will end up with doyle and some other project, fed up hearing lawwell saying we will spend the money on the right 1.action speaks louder than words and lennon as well.they should just roll out the signings that we need and stop dragging there heels or just be quiet.we are in a position of strength deliver to the fans and no cheap options
