    that was teddy bjarnason, hes carved out a relatively successful carer for himself, good player, he also played for them though.

    His grandfather, Theódór Jakob Guðmundsson, played for [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knattspyrnuf%C3%A9lag_Reykjav%C3%ADkur"]Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] in the golden years of that club and competed against Liverpool in 1964 in the first European game for both of these clubs.

    Icelandic media are still pushing the Sociedad story today. Heerenveen knocked back £7.5 million from Fulham, so it's pretty safe to say that we'll be nowhere near signing him.
