We cant jump to conclusions as easy as that

I remember Wanyama was * awful with the ball at his feet for the first few games...................then he turned out to be brilliant for us. Stan Petrov also.

Hatem was a mixture of injuries and his family didn’t move over here so only really had Bitton.

Bernabei has his family over here plus some friends. He’s still young and not had any real game time, wouldn’t cut our losses with him just yet.

Wanyama was never great in the technical aspects of the game- unless marking and tackling are counted. But we never signed him to create attacks. It is OK to have specialized players in certain positions.

It's not a conclusion it's every time he has played and he's not been great defensively and we really need someone who's better than Taylor for Europe we got to improve every transfer window and that includes a better keeper also .

Aye we need somebody better than Taylor and you could say that about everyone in our team for Europe. Champions League is a massive different ball game and we need to be realistic when we are talking about us playing at that level. If we ever dreamed of actually seriously competing with top Champions League teams i.e Man City, Real Madrid, Barca, Liverpool, Bayern Munich...then obviously when you consider what it would take...then they have a better player than we do for every position on the field..........More Money more talent....its not that hard to get our heads around.

But we can accept our position in that competition and obviously aspire to do very well at that level if possible. But we cant just say we need to replace our whole entire team with better players in every position. Cause I think other teams on our level...or round about our level....and Im gonna say like Ajax, Borousia Dortmund, maybe Spurs, Marseille.....those kinda teams.....every one of them will be thinking the same as that and they cant just replace everyone of their players with better players. Cause if they could then they would be competing with the top Champions League teams....but they cant so they are not.......the same as us

It's progression and every transfer window we try to improve each position every transfer window and this transfer window we need a keeper a left back a centre half and quality midfielder and a qood quality striker to compete with kyogo .

Still give him some more time, he's young, not long at the club.

Everyone seems to go bonkers after these games if we get beat, everyone turns * and they're no good enough.

Might end up turning out that way, but can be laughable sometimes with the outpouring of * dependant on the opponents.

Irrespective of what game he has played in he has stuck out for the wrong reasons. He is a woeful defender, positional sense is zero, ability to pass to a Celtic player almost the same, winning tackles well I’m unsure I’ve seen him win a tackle yet. People say he looks good going forward, really? His decision making is so poor as is his passing. If we go back a couple of years and Lennon was still in the chair people would be saying this was a Lawwell signing, made to increase the shirt sales in Argentina. The guy is not good enough as a back up in the SPFL never mind the CL. Unfortunately, in my opinion we have got to get rid, hopefully get something back for him and list him in the same category as Ajeti, Barkas etc etc etc

Agreed. Bernabei is a dud. We need to get rid of him. And sack the agent who recommended him.Our scouting arrangement needs upgraded too, with the management having a more hands on approach on the signings.

Going to take a * of a lot of improvement for him to become a reliable player for us. Hope it happens, but can't see I at the moment. Never convinced he's going to make the right decision and his positioning and timing is well off. I'm taking into account his age and the fact he's moved to a new country etc, but we need another for that area for going into Europe, absolutely no question.

He is young but has been here for nearly a year, how long do you give him?

A loan for a season, with us bringing in a bit more of a physical replacement would be ideal. He's got some decent attributes. Can't see us recouping anywhere near what we paid for him if we sell just now but give him a season of football and he either comes back an improved player with a bit more experience or it at least puts him in the shop window.

Personally only ange will know if he is likely to turn good and that comes from what he sees in training etc. I wouldn't give up on him just yet but I fear I'm trying to convince myself there is a player there rather than admit defeat on him

I just don't see it in him but in saying that Taylor was the same.. I'd give him another 6 months to a season..

Very similar failings as Bolingoli. He was hunted much sooner. Funnily enough both of them can't behave off the field either.
He's been an awful signing. £3.75m for someone who isn't better than Greg Taylor

Abildgaard, McCarthy, Bernabei, Scales even, all strange signings. They don't strike me as the Ange type.
