Alexandro Bernabei

It's been said before but why don't we give him a shot at left wing? I think he's ultimately going to be pish wherever he plays but the rest of our wingers are *, and at least he has pace and can cross the ball.

 

I find it hard to compliment him when I feel he's been lucky not to be punished for terrible positioning.

As above, I'd support moving him up the park as all of our wingers are garbage right now.

 

Hes actually got a good delivery

 

Was good there, credit where it’s due, that’s all I’m saying.

 

He showed a bit of fight

 

He played quite well the last 2 games, good technically gets into good areas, calm on the ball etc

Can barely trust him though as he never plays and his team mates probably can't either, summed up by that one in the first half Bernabei could have collected the ball but Hart probably though so you will ya daft wee * and ran out and booted it out the park instead of letting Bernabei take control of it.

Was one of our better players tonight.

 

Thought he done well.

 

At least he has a set of balls and doesn't hide. Should be the bare minimum at Celtic but a few of his colleagues could take a lesson from him in that regard.

 

Only Celtic could sign somebody for left back who isn’t a left back … or a left winger … I’m not really sure what he is …

 

What a player

 

Played well tonight, credit where it’s due

 

Only caught the 2nd half due to work, but thought he was pretty good.

I'm still holding on to a glimmer of hope, I've always thought there is a player in there.

I think it must be difficult getting wee cameos even now and again.

 

I thought he was one of our better players but actually wasn’t much better than he usually does, just others were woeful.

The thing I will give him is when a lot of our big players were continuing to pass the buck and fluff their lines, he stood up and was trying to make something happen. Showed a bit of heart and determination.

 

A man of chaos is very apt. Thought he did fine.

 

Probably his best performance in a Celtic shirt, but even that comes the the caveat of being because he wasn't punished for any of his mistakes/positioning like he was on the weekend.

He was mostly fine first half against Aberdeen as well, but then gives away the ball and his reaction is poor, strolling back and just casually watching as they counter attack and score.

 

He is a wee lunatic, isn't he. Mind that friendly in Japan where he made a s**** attempt at a forward pass, it went to the opposition keeper, Berni chased him down, won it back and scored.
