  1. I feel safer with him at LB than Taylor.

  4. Few lovely balls at times, rose to the occasion. Ran himself into the ground for the cause as well.

Few shaky moments early on, but worked his way out of it and gave a real contribution to the result.

  7. Thought he was very good tonight. He’s so sound defensively really disciplined and isn’t bad on the ball either. Great ball to kyogo aswell where he volleyed it first time

  8. I thought he was awful first half and incredible second half. Left me scratching my head TBH. Brilliant second-half performance, though.

  9. His pass to Kyogo was sensational.

I thought he had a good 90 mins tbh. They didn't get a huge amount out of him despite that side constantly being targeted first half.

Personally think he has a lot of potential. Really like him. There needs to be an understanding with young, developing players that they will be inconsistent and need managed. Same goes for Engels and Bernardo.

  10. I agree. He's a very good level for 20 years old and full back is a tricky position to master, hence why the likes of Tierney and Frimpong were such revelations.

If there's any chance we can get him permanently we have to make it happen.

  12. Coming onto a game the more he plays, think he will keep improving with the more game time he gets too.

  13. Think he started poorly but looked like he was expecting to play the way we do at home against teams like Ross County. Was trying to play right wing at one stage.

When he held his position he was excellent.

  14. Wouldn’t be against signing Tierney if we can sign Valle on a permanent and he continues to develop like he is doing.

  15. He's getting better each game and he is starting to look a keeper.
I would be quite happy to have him and Taylor rotating for certain games, as our two top left backs.
It would mean a problem spot for us for years, has finally been resolved satisfactorily.

  16. His performance tonight was very promising. Defended aggressively and showed composure on the ball against quality opposition. Can’t ask for much more.

  17. Looked quality tonight - hope that this is the beginning of him making the lb position his own

  18. Very mature performance, clear he has great importance on the pitch for his teammates - especially in the buildup with impeccable touch, passing & movement

    He impresses me every match

  19. Every game he's getting better and better. Growing in confidence and understanding if the game we play.

He's taken a bit of stick for going down easily in previous games, but I don't think he's going down due to diving or no contact.
Can imagine this is Barcelona view and hope, that he toughens up and can take a bit of a barge and roughness to the game.

Just wonder if they will be open to selling, because how he's developing, I'd be very keen to sign him at this stage.
