Taylor’s performance midweek was one we have seen time and time again at that level however.

Not quite like that, that was something else that mismatch. There’s twice that I remember totally exposed like that, Adeyemi and the boy from Bodo-Glint.

Jura got similar level of ripped apart from Mudryk who was looking every penny of £100m, and Vini Jr. More understandable that to be fair.

Ralston against Neymar as well, which I still think weirdly he didn’t do much wrong, Neymar just ran * riot and was unstoppable that night. Wasn’t good but not much wrong either.

Charlie Mulgrew at LB his debut against either Utrecht or Braga a stand out there as well.

It wasn’t just a bad game, it was notably terrible that it’ll be talked about as legendarily bad. But even at that, don’t think he had much help at all, was always 2 on 1, Maeda covering those missing in midfield and being the guy who needed to be further forward to be an outball. He needs protection, we know that. And we left him exposed as *.

Valle was better, but Adeyemi also left bery early that half. He wasn’t up against what Taylor was. Two of his goals also happened him going over the other side, against Trusty and the goal that was him on the left after a corner.

How many times have we seen the opposition score either directly down Taylor’s side, or with him getting done in behind or one v one and the cross that leads to it mate? It happens often. Get Valle in the team in my opinion.

I don't know how people can defend Taylor after performances like that, especially given that it's a fairly frequent occurence in Europe.

Everyone has players that are a bit * but they love them. But like practically speaking, I don't want to see him play on a European night basically ever. Never in position, easily targeted, too much of a liability. Hooking him was the right decision.

I’m keen to see him get a chance. Hope he starts against County.

A lot, not really this year though when we’ve changed quite a bit from last season, not opposed to seeing Valle there but very quickly against struggling with Falkirk and Taylor appearing he made a big difference. Big part of the fluid midfield play this season.

Valle seems to have the quality to do that though La Masia product that shoulde instinctive

Very accomplished today. Calm and composed and most importantly was always available for the ball. No hiders in a Celtic team.

Caught the last 15 min, looks very much a key player in possession and outlet for escaping pressure

Aye, my MOTM. Nothing majorly flashy but he was composed and solid.

Cheers for that, I knew he hadn’t really been starting but what I saw, I saw a player absolutely relaxed but proactive - very much involved

Plus, the silky confidence on the ball, well we are used to that at La Masia - love to see it though

Thought he was good and think he will be even better when the whole team is firing on all cylinders.

His spot to lose for me. We know Taylor has a ceiling. Give him a chance to prove he doesn’t have that ceiling

Motm today I think. He’s comfortable in the inverted role but also doesn’t neglect the left back position. Good on the ball in tight spaces and put some great deliveries in the box. Nice to see some overlaps on the left hand side which suits forrest as he’s great at holding the ball up and releasing it at the right time. Also done really well to track back and defend when county broke.
Definitely our best option at left back right now

    Definitely motm for me..

Loves his runs and the way he got in behind numerous times..

    Much more like it..

First touch is excellent as well more often than no and looks silky with it..

The past couple appearances I have noticed his confidence more. It naturally takes time to settle and its only the start of October.

Crucially I think for the inverted role, him being comfortable on either foot is great.

And seeing a full back with a bit of pace and overlapping is refreshing for us as Taylor isn't really about that at all.

Attacking side great but also he made a few physical challenges today.

Definitely a player to work with here.

Has to start against Aberdeen, doubt Taylor will be fully fit for then anyway.

He got better as the game went on as well, I thought he would tire in the last 30mins but he kicked it up a gear making those runs down the outside. Got all the markings to be a cracking player.
