Wasn't impressed with his play at all up until that run through the middle and such a delicate wee flick back Wow, just wow!!!

 

That him with two assists now in 2 games.

I know I'm focusing on the wrong thing but that has to be good for building confidence early doors

 

Thought he was good when he came on. Got forward, and done well enough defensively when he had to.

 

Could watch that touch all day. Unreal from anyone on the pitch, nevermind a full back.

 

Can see why he was loaned out, he’s oozing with class & ability but struggles with some of the basics especially defensively. Given more game time he’ll be class, no doubt about it.

 

What a cameo that was. Ridiculous awareness, timing, vision and ability for that assist. From being a bit reserved and disappointed his debut to that, I’ll start getting ready for a wee bit of excitement to build up for him.

 

For a left back to get an assist like that is ridiculous, absolute filth..

Looks a bit lightweight for me and you could see from their KO off second half they were gonna target him but he dealt with it well.

I say it’s in his loan agreement he plays certain amount games over season. I say that why he came on at half time.

 

If taylors not signing a deal, then this guy will get more time. We have a chance to buy him. Mays well develop him. He'll get used to the physical aspect and still has that barca style skill. Potential to be a filthy player, just will we give him the time to develop is the question.

Aside from that I liked his performance. Looked more composed on the ball. Looked quicker tonight. Was better in the tackle than Taylor..

 

Sadly, and as much as ive tried to champion him more of recently, Taylor was * abysmal.

Valle looked far better than him when he come on.

Agreed. Faired far better than I thought he would when I saw him coming on. Definitely getting better.

Pretty sure it was the 7th. Johnston was the 6th.

 

Aye, he done well when he came on especially after Taylor had a shocker the amount he gave the ball away.

Would keep him in the team the next game.

 

Needs to start vs Atalanta.
