    some of the bitter comments on here are pathetic to say the least.

    I realise I'm a little heated about the whole thing but I'd ask who the * people think they are in judging one of the greats of world football. A player who has made the game more beautiful for the last twenty years.

    He decided to go to Australia for the last year of his playing days! Good luck to him I say.

    Well said, the man is an absolute legend and a pretty decent guy by all accounts as well.

    I think that the only negative thing we can really say is about the standard of football down under...

    To slate him for making a decision other than Celtic is out of order!

    Don't get me wrong I would've loved to have seen him in the Hoops but he's made his decision and we respect that and move on!

    Good luck to you Ale - and if you ever change your mind and find yourself aching for honking weather & sausage rolls...

    Like I said if he's still wanting to play against the best, then why the * go to play in dingo world.

    However (as already mentioned) if its tanned blondes, daft accents and sun yer after.....on ye go sir....ye've done it all.
