I will try to explain to you , we know the ability , strengths and weaknesses of Tonev . Celtic in recent years have signed players who after playing a handful of games have proved that they cannot play for us . We have wasted time and money on these players , whereas we know what Tonev can do and cannot do.

Tonev has been seriously unimpressive!! send him back to Villa, we wouldn't miss him 1 iota. Would rather see our own players playing anyways.

As far as Scepo is concerned he's ours for better or worse we'll see in the fullness of time. As far as worst player in the last 10 years we have a plethora of guys that could take that accolade and I wouldn't have Scepo in there!

Aliadiere, Virgo, Du Wei, Killen, Murphy, Bangura, Camara, Braafheid, Ljungberg, Blackman, Brozek, El-Kaddouri, Boerrigter, Pukki , Ambrose, Mouyokolo, Berget, Tonev, Miku, Rasmussen, Hooiveld!!!

We have a long line of signing gashness personified!!! At the very least Scepo has bagged a few goals more than I can say for Bangura, the worst for me in the last decade!!!

 

But comparing him with wingers makes you look daft buddy

Plus he has not had a good run in the side, don't get me wrong he has not set the world on fire with his performances but given time he may come good, more about him than some of the dross we have signed up front in the last few seasons.

 

Remember that youtube video that was floating about, it was 8 minutes long, the first 30 seconds was excellent skills following by another 30 seconds of assists and then the last 7 minutes was just terrible decision making and terrible long shots.

Youtube compilations can make anyone look good, even that couldn't make him look like a top player.

Thankfully we didn't buy this guy along with Berget and Wakaso, saved us a lot of cash.

It's a pity Boerrigter, Pukki and Balde weren't loans as well.

The quality of signing we have brought in the last few years has been terrible, we were on fire a few year back with Izzy, Kayal, Forster, Ledley, Hooper, Stokes, Wanyama, Ki, Lustig, Matthews etc.

Recently the only 3 good players we have brought in are Gordon, VVD and Johansen. Denayer and Guidetti also but they're only loan deals.

Hopefully we bring in Armstrong to follow GMS, at least we'll know what we're getting.

Have to laugh at this myth that seems to be floating around our support that Scepovic is useless.

 

Its this forum . Once a seed is planted , posters just ran and run with it . Certain things that are accepted as common truth on here are unheard of in the real world of actual fans.

Why do you feel the need to ruin every thread with chat about Scepovic?

 

I wouldn't go as far as useless, because he hasn't really had much of an opportunity, but I would be lying if I said I was overly impressed with what he has served up so far in the time he has played.
