Not one for sticking up for a racist but im also not one for condemning a man without sufficient proof. Show us proof and we will show him the door but until then we have to back one of our own.

Don't get me wrong, if one of our players WAS guilty of racist remarks, I would be the first to want him fecked right out of Parkhead. However, there is doubt on this one, and I think the SFA has made right baws up here. There is no evidence whatsoever that Tonev was guilty, and there's no evidence to say the Aberdeen player is lying either. I don't even think the SFA's finding would hold any credence in a court either. I can see this case going a long way

Whats next a fan saying he heard a player saying something to another player,and the SFA takes his word and suspends a player,mind * boggling.
I hope Tonev takes this to court and if/when found innocent sues Logan and the SFA,for defamation of character,for lets be very serious here,its very easy for someone to call a fellow human a racist,but it can be very hard for the accused to clear his name, and even when he does his record is soiled,and its a * travesty of justice that the accuser is not held to the same punishment as the one accused.

Been there,done that and wore the * teeshirt.

 

So you're hoping Tonev's ban sticks and that he will be labelled as a racist, all on the mere word of another player, just because you don't rate him?

I would have preferred the SFA to actually do their jobs 56 and investigate the matter properly, but nothing surprises me with that lot. They have screwed us over plenty of other times after all.

I'm glad the club launched an appeal against the ban.

 

He's a greedy * on the pitch with his constant long range (off target) shooting so it wouldn't surprise me if he was just a * in general.

 

If this guy scores a screamer at some point I hope people don't suddenly think he's a decent player, if anyone hit the amount of shots from distance he does they would score eventually.

He's able to ruin his career well enough on his own with his shitness to be fair. Honestly never seen a greedier player than him playing for Celtic.

Seems like the SFA have "probably" dug a hole that they "probably" should have not been too keen to shovel.

Hope Tonev sues the SFA and Logan.

 

Logan aka The boy who cried wolf is a big greetin faced * that likes to throw his toys out the pram when things don't go his way.

I hope he gets a lifetime ban for the abuse he aimed at that referee.

 

Regardless of how this goes down on here, i hope the ban gets completely dropped.
No proof. Both McInnes and Logan are clearly heid cases and maybe hatred and disappointment cloud there judgement.

If yer a player and ye've been drilled to go out and win at any costs, one of those is to get players sent off and banned, spin out any kind of negative publicity, racism being the perfect one and i just wish someone did have audio to show up how much * stupidity really is at the core of this * storm.

I'd question whether McInnes is driven through hatred and Logan through intimadation on the pitch, which is normally banter, against Aberdeen it's maybe more aligned with an old firm mentality.

Hardly think Tonev is gonna be going around intimidating Logan.
As far as i remember, Tonev callled him a Pass Back *, which makes sense to me if you think about a guy not speaking much lingo getting told he's * by Logan.

Simple solution to Logan is to fire Wakaso right on him and keep Tonev out these games. Problem solved. Don't think it solves anything banning a player, ruining his career if in fact he didn't say anything racist. That's the thing to remember here and it'll be easy to see when Tonev plays. We might just see a more fired up player who just gets his heid doon and plays direct attacking football.

Sorry for the long post. I should disappear for a while. But don't give up hope on Tonev just yet.

 

Any ideas about defamation under Scots law?

I know its a crime to accuse someone without proof in other countries and i am pretty sure Tonev would be entitled to go after Individuals or organisations seeing as his reputation has been damaged.

He actually had his best game tonight albeit from the bench. Him and Izzy worked well.
