Boy who cried wolf is what it's starting to sound like tbh.

Agree with your view on him receiving punishment.

Maybe he just felt it was better left with the footballing authorities and he was happy with the punishment handed out? Maybe he didn't want the guy facing jail time for it, I dunno, still have my doubts that he'd just make it up for no reason.

he might of misheard something. I highly doubt he would make something up likes this. Its damaging to his career aswell.

I don't see Logan making this up - he reacted immediately. If Tonev is actually not guilty as he claims, it must have been a mishearing of something. As we don't know what he was supposed to have said it's hard to know what the mishearing could have been. But to me there is no way in * Logan just made this up - why would he? Doesn't make sense at all - to report it immediately he obviously genuinely believed he heard a racial slur. And if that's the case he did the right thing reporting it.

No he doesn't, he sounds like a footballer. The sport had constantly policed its own people and footballers/football clubs don't protest because they mostly benefit. For example, Roy Keane, when he took out Haaland and later admitted it was pre-meditated. In any other profession he would have been arrested and likely jailed for assault.

Alternatively, Rangers still try and claim that their recent punishment was entirely unfair and illegal. However, they haven't taken the case outside of sporting justice because they know that if they did they would likely have been punished even more than they were. The same can be said for Juventus, Marseille and other clubs who have cheated.

Regarding Logan, his reaction suggested he did "hear" a racist offense. The only defense available to Tonev is that he said something Logan misheard. However, in such cases it is usually up to the alleged perpetuator to disprove the accusation; and these days this is very difficult to achieve. Logan does not have a history of claiming racism without evidence. Furthermore, a large number of Europeans do use derogatory racist language casually, as do South Americans (think Suarez) and more and more idiots who are from the UK who support UKIP.

As for the Police, he may have felt that his complaint would be dealt with better in-house. Alternatively, he may believe that Tonev was racist and should be punished, although in many cases saying something racist does not equate to a racist person. Think Leigh Griffith and his stupidity joining in a song that mocked asylum seekers and Rudolf Skacel. I don't think he's racist because of that, he's just an idiot. That being said if he constantly says it without learning from mistakes he is racist.

Tonev says that he is innocent. The club back him. Seems reasonable without any clear evidence.
I dont doubt that Logan believes he heard a racist comment but he could be wrong. A bulgarian, in a high tempo game, with a lot of background noise might well have been misheard.

And also to call someone a racist when there was no racism involved,is in my opinion, sheer * criminal.

If a person is found guilty of racism he should pay the penalty, which most level minded people agree on.
However,as I have said before,if the allegations are found to be misleading or,untruthfull then the person making the allegation should be brought to task in kind.

Even the Bulgarians realise you shouldn't prosecute a ban on 'probability'. The SFA have guessed that Tonev must be kinda guilty of racism because Logan said so. So it must be. Could also be that Logan is lying seeing as that is a possible probability too.

The SFA wouldn't have been expecting that. No surprise they've refused to comment.
