    The term gets used far too much but, aye.

    Celtic cannot keep him after this, though. It would be different if he was half decent and could play a bit (à la Suarez) but he's just a complete wage drain.

    Celtic have appealed it.

    They have every right to defend him if they believe him to be innocent.

    I'd like to know what qualifies those who mad the decision have to find him guilty, and if it was such a clear cut CRIME, then why are football officials dealing with it and not the police?

    Did he say it? Why would the player make it up? Is it just one mans word against another?

    I have absolutely no idea.


    Two things are for sure though... Tonev isn't very good and if the SFA said it was raining outside, I'd look out the window to double check..

    Shouldn't matter one iota about the players ability. I'm willing to accept that this is a difficult one to prove, as there doesn't appear to be any concrete evidence, however, if there was definitive proof, even if he had made a great start to his time here, I would still want him gone.

    If it turns out that he has been found guilty without any clear evidence and just based on Logan's word then tonev and the club should take this all the way. As far as I'm aware there was no video footage found and no one there to hear it being said so that isn't grounds to find someone guilty of being racist.

    Tonev has appealed it and Celtic are backing him. Celtic could get a lot of bad coverage if the appeal fails.

    I think it's not being handed to the police because he's a footballer and because of that he has to be treated like royalty.

    I don't think we know the whole story though they couldn't have dished this out without something being concrete.
