The fact some of our fans are already writing him off as a racist is terrible. Would like some proper evidence that he said it please.

Something fishy with this one, live on sky and camera'd up to * at Celtic park and supposedly there is nothing? Sky get angles of everything, suarez/evra , john terry etc but not a jot here..

This from the same lot who gave Boyd a not proven after a nut live for all to see on bt..

Evidence needs presented here big time or i hope we take them to the cleaners..

Club seem to be standing by him. It's his word against the other players.

Surely there is TV evidence to prove if he was racist or not(goes for * all up here right enough)?

So there is no evidence, other than the other players word for it ?
Naw, something wrong here and it needs to be appealed.

Was expecting a not proven for this. How can they make a decision on one word against another?

Although I wonder why a player would lie that he got racially abused but you never know.

Without knowing what evidence they have based their decision on, it looks like they have possibly used this case to make a point, rather than issuing their punishment with undeniable evidence to go with.

If so, then it is totally unfair on the player and Celtic. Especially the severity of the ban.

Tonev should just ask Logan to prove his claim in a court of law.

The SFA should be forced to publish EVIDENCE not a verdict based on hearsay

this is total bullshit by the * wanks that are in charge of our game.....its ones mans word against another, when i heard earlier he was found guilty with 7 match ban i said that he must have been caught on video or audio evidence then.....but this is shocking if he hasnt..i aint defending him either, but if someone called said you called them by a racist remark and it was you against his words and you got sacked, how would you feel...

If he was found guilty by evidence then clearly get him tae *,but ill stand by him till he is proven of that....its not the first time the SFA have * someone over

I agree, my original reaction was get him to *, but player and club seem convinced he's innocent so will wait and see. Should think it through before posting

Edit : had another wee think, get him to * regardless he's pish

This is a strange one, hard to say anything about it given we don't know what Tonev is alleged to have said, nor what he claims he said. Logan's reaction was instantaneous though, he went straight to the ref, which means he either mis-heard something and got the wrong end of the stick, or did indeed hear racist abuse from Tonev. I suppose the third option is the defence that Suarez is still using, that he did use a racial term but didn't intend it to be a slight.

Impossible to know, difficult position. Club has to support the player if he maintains his innocence, but disbelieving an Irish player who has no reason to lie is not a comfortable option either.

Only other thing is that I have seen nothing from Tonev so far to indicate that he will be a player for us, so I wouldn't be that sorry to see the back of him anyway.

    Haha that's * tragic.

The SFA are * themselves to say not guilty before an uproar from the ethnic minority lobby groups, George Galloway and the Celtic antifa groups.
Which would then be followed by 10 BBC SPORT news pages by black journalists, ex footballers and a women's footballer thrown in to show how "backward" football is.

What a joke this country is, so your a racist unless you can prove your not?
    PC gone mad.

A guilty verdict to avoid an uproar from black people against the SFA saying that Scottish Football promotes racism
