I might just be too lenient but I think when we have actual football players at fullback itll make a big difference, he's lethal inside the box so we should play to his strengths.

No matter what anybody thinks of him however, we need another 2 strikers in, instead of the Huffy * and nonce we currently have on the books.

He looks lean and sharp, needs better service around about him.

Thought he worked hard and looked keen but up against a packed defence that gave him no space

I think he will have a good season but realistically we need to sign another 2 strikers for this season coming.

Feel like I'm going into every thread saying this about every position. Probably because I am.

    This.

He’s a poacher which is redundant in the modern game.

I’d still be starting him next week but ideally he’d our third option who’s flung on when we’re desperate for a goal and have no other options.

He offers absolutely nothing outside the penalty area. Poor touch, no link up, can’t hold the ball up, can’t run, can’t dribble…

Ideally we sell Eddy and get a proper first team striker who’ll walk into the team immediately and a young back up for him with Ajeti as the third option.

He worked hard last night but he definitely needs better service than what is currently being provided, especially from our fullbacks. I think the fact that he is more of a poacher will be beneficial against teams sitting deep as forwards will need to be clever finding a yard of space in the box, which I think he is capable of, we just didn't provide much for him

Lost some timber. Not convinced he’s going to be first choice but looks like he’s putting the graft in so far.

If Eddy leaves and Griff is shown the door are we seriously going to go with Ajeti as our main striker? Good finisher but there is so much more to being a striker these days than just putting the ball in the net from 10 yards out. Id be very worried if we are relying on this guy to lead our attack this season. At the very least he needs some serious back up.

A guy that scores goals is never reduntant. I think he will but needs service which was eliminated when wingers went off yesterday.

Service to a good striker, which I do think he is if a bit slow = goals

Offers nothing. Absolutely nothing to our play..

    Contributes fuckall..

This is him lean. Trying. Hungry..

His can barely move. His link up play is appalling. You don't notice him in the majority of game's..

He cannot be our number 1 or 2 striker..

Edouard looked his usual disinterested selse and even at a center he offered more than Ajeti. It's worrying that there's been very little talk in the rumour mill of the club even eyeing strikers.

Reliant on shots on target from outside the box which we haven't been good at and keeper spills ,this is his game .

Never helped today that he had young and inexperienced players supporting him in Montgomery and Moffat.

He's getting a clean slate and looking in better shape this season, but would need to really see him in a flowing side with more experience and direct play - what we expect from Kyogo and Abada.

Will judge more in a month or so.
