    are you an mp ^^^:icon_mrgreen:

the vast majority of managers who are in full control
of the playing side of their club/country,
will surround their self with people that they know/believe
    they can trust.
& who they believe can do a top job with them

I wish Thommo all the best, but given that Lenny has got * all management experience, I'd have been more confident if he'd got someone more experienced in to assist him.

I'm still hoping we'll see some kind of DoF or adviser brought in...

i agree totally buddy, this is all very worrying, very worrying indeed:54:i wonder who will be next to join this merry band, well, ill tell you something..it had better * work, cos i am sick of the club being used as a plaything for inexperienced, incompetent x polititians and men who would rather go watch golf than watch celtic, if this gamble fails, then heads must roll!:31:i really do worry about celtic

Everytime I read one of your posts it is something negative against celtic? I don't think i've read a post of yours that says something postive....seriously! These guys know the club inside out and know what it takes to win games in the SPL (main focus next year is to win the SPL back) with europe this year probably being an after thought but will give it a good go. Would you rather splash millions on a new manager (lets say mark hughes) who doesn't know the club the way they do or have any experience of playing the scottish game??? That is what I would call a risk...

And, what has incompetant politicians got to do with the signing of thompson??

what has thomson done at management level, was he not with newcastle when they got humped into the 1st division?...i am negative because i am sick of celtic making mistake after mistake, i am not happy with it at all, instinct tells me this, strachan should have stayed, and Reid is behind an awfull lot of what is going on, tell me, what success have we had since he arrived?...statistics please?.........................

Are you talking about John Reid here or Lennon?? Sure some extra experience would be a bonus but for me (personal opinion) splashing out on a manager with 'experience' would be more of a risk. In this league Lennon and co are more than qualified in my eyes to bring back this league. For me all that is needed is the passion and the backing of the fans and the league will be ours.

And what exactly has john reid done wrong?? Was he only in charge when mowbray arrived??

Happy to see Thompson back at the club, was one of my favourite players when he was around - regular hunskelper indeed.

Hope it all works out for him as First Team Coach though, good luck to him.

the new management team will do famously and with Mjallby as assistant to Thommo it will give him the opportunity to finish his badges. I look forward to a few new signings and then see Neil crack the whip to put passion in the side. Mulgrew can be a shrewd signing though I don't know if Sol will make the move. I'd like to see that young Danish/Swedish?? "Rooney" being signed up. I think if we get three first team additions it will be the height of it. Want to see us get 2M for Samaras and let him go.

well the french just proved that it doesn't matter how many world class players you have if your manager isn't good enough you won't win the crunch games, im not really buying into the harmony between players etc.. due to their pride as professionals.

do you think the manager lost that game last night?
the rumours have been going for a while that there has been
disharmony among the players /management for a while.
So the prima donnas on the pitch are to blame in my
    eyes.
& no disrespect but they only scraped their way to the
finals by cheating so arent as good as some people think.

At least with lenny he will unite our players & get them playing
    for the cause:50:
