I quite like Roughie too. He's quite harmless, doesn't take himself too seriously and IMO gives Celtic a fair crack of the whip. To call the Steve McKenna thing sectarian is a bit much Wee Paul. I think that's what is sometimes referred to as Celtic paranoia. For what it's worth a good friend of mine went to school with McKenna and he was a Celtic supporter. So either he said it to insult a legendary figure from the club he supported as a boy or maybe he just didn't know what it meant.

And some of you might remember Jamie Sanderson - the ultimate football shock-jock (james traynor now tries to fill his slot - oh-err missus)

That's what these guys are paid to do, to get the phone lines going

I they constantly banged on about how embarrassing it is that the SPL has Gretna in it, nobody would listen

PS My daughters best mate's uncle is none other than Hugh Keevens!

Oil works - but is that not usually connected with pouring on water

Dougal roughie is (as was pointed out earlier) a celtic legend. If you're going to slag him off, at least do him the honour of slow and considered typing...."hes *"

I find it hard to believe that someone can be a celtic legend when theyve played only 5 times for us :86:

Mibees, but how many times (in the real world) did you play for us - fecking none!

And all you do is insult the man that is Alan Rough.

(I'm not sure whether you were saying that he is a * or implying that he had a full time job during the incarceration of Rudolph Hess providing relief to him)

Doumbe only played a handful of games but many will remember him for 1 reason only.

Granted he is back now , but i still think we wouldnt have forgot him if he had left

    Well said ChampionsElect

Roughie = Legend for his 5 games

Made a good save for Scotland once (against England I think, when he tipped it onto the bar)

Who do you think you are sitting in judgement Dougal

    SHAME ON YOU!!

It was against Wales, at Anfield. From John Toshack. That game.

    SHAME ON YOU

When Dalglish headed the second Arthur Montford said those immortal words

    "ARGENTINA HERE WE COME !'

It was amazing. And then we were humiliated at the tournament.

My dad had been off the * for years when we played that game. But at 3-1 up, and one more goal enough to take us through, the ice cream van sounded it's chimes and I was sent out for 10 Regal.

The goal came. But Holland had scored it and we were out.

My wife's cousin is seeing Mark R**d (don't want any stalkers)

He played about the same number of games.

When I meet him, I bow

    Celtic Legend

(did I push it too far there?)

A certain Mark R**d played 120 games - a few more than Mr.Rough. Your wife's cousin must be getting on a bit. He's nearly 50.

Impactsok, ask Mark Reid does he remember the time Roy Aitken bust his (Reid's) finger at training and his wedding ring (I think it was a wedding ring) ripped his finger open. He will probably wonder who I am if you ask him that.
