Good preformance tonight. Very happy with desire from the team.

We need to start learning how to defend against set pieces though. Its gettin farcical

Good point for the team very happy with the result and thought the second goal was more due to a tremendous delivery than poor defending also their first goal was quality and i thought overall we defended pretty well. I thought biton was very good and ambrose made some crucial blocks and won everything in the air when he came on

 

Delighted we got the valuable point but more important was the effort put in by the players. Still a few mistakes made and especially disappointing was the amount of times we gave away possession. Overall though we fought hard tonight and gave ourselves some pride back.

First half I thought we played much better than many expected and undoubtedly the red card was the turning point which cost us all three points.

Obviously still room for improvement but at least it's not another night on here of all doom and gloom. Febernahce getting gubbed also just goes to show that anything can happen and this group is far from being predictable.

 

I'd take 4 points from our 3 against Ajax and Fernabache. Then the Molde games will define the campaign.

 

If fenerbace are going to ship goals like tonight we've a chance of taking points in every game playing like tonight. I'm very happy tonight, and would've been delighted but for izzy blowing a hole in the hull.

 

We wanted a reaction and that's what happened. 2-2 is a very good result. Speaks for itself when fans are disappointed with a draw against Ajax in Amsterdam.

The way we were set up was effective - stopped Ajax playing their usual game. The second goal was a soft one to concede but can't have too many complaints.

 

My mates watched the Molde match. Said Molde deserved to win and Fener were poor

 

Today's fenerbahçe didn't give hope.. The coach is not coaching this squad.. Moreover people begged for a Box to box player.. But we transferred 2 more dms and now we have 4 dm and 3 plays at the same time.. Today fenerbahçe started really good... But unfortunately the team has stopped meaninglessly.. A refree s present penalty given to Molde... Thanks to nani for the equaliser.. But fenerbahçe is far far away from creativeness. So Molde deserved the victory. Like Iceland in euro 16 qualifiers, Molde is a dangerous team.. And after tonight, it is not a dream for Molde to be qualified from the group. So if celtic believes in that, can win the group.. Otherwise with fenerbahçe, celtic stays at the bottom..

Good result. Deserved to win, but a draw away is good.

Molde won't be a walk in the park as some think. They played some great attacking football. 3-1 in Turkey is strong.

 

Anywhere I can see highlights full online a missed the match coz of work!!

 

If anybody thought Molde would be a walk in the park, they're on meth. We did well tonight, apart from constantly giving the ball away, but I don't think we deserved to win. Ajax will be annoyed with themselves.

Disappointing not to get win.
Izzy is a fool.
Lustig, bar the goal was bad.
Whole team sitting too deep, giving Ajax too much respect.
Team needs to be sharper.

Didn't look comfortable whole game I felt, if I was the manager of a team vs Celtic, my tactics would be "don't give them any time on the ball, press everything".
Taking everything into consideration, probably a vast majority of this site would have bitten your hand off for a point, just makes everything more disappointing!

Honestly hope tonight's result has put a tampon up the knee * fans *.

Unlucky not to hold onto the lead but a point is still a good result.
Izzy was stupid tonight, could see a sending off coming a mile away there.

Good result. Certain people were hoping for a negative result tonight. As is with Scottish Football, it will be the negatives that get highlighted.

Was it an ideal performance?? No. However, I've yet to see a faultless display in 20 odd years of playing and watching football.

Can we play better??? Yes. Still a bit disjointed in certain scenarios. Another new defensive line-up tonight and hopefully once it settles down we can push on.

 

The fact I'm slightly disappointed not to get the 3 points makes me very happy indeed.
