Ajax are * as well though, since we last played both of us are a lot weaker. They might beat us 3 or 4 nil but we also might beat them 2 or 3 nil depending on who turns up on the night.

I dont fear them any more than Molde, us them and Ajax are all poor teams by Champions League standards and average teams by Europa League standards. We could all beat each other home and away.

Do you think Feyenoord can win the League this season?

Id say best chance in a while. Will probably need to avoid losing in the games against Ajax and win against PSV though.

Feyenoord defence looks quite good and they look like they have enough goals in them up front to do well. Last season I thought they had no chance but now I could see it.

not wanting to be too downbeat, but we couldn't beat them 3-0 :smiley-laughing002: Are away record is embarrassing & whats even worse is how many goals we are conceding away in Europe. Bar the qualifying games its a shambles.

i'd like nothing more to be proved wrong on Thursday but, i just can't see it. Also Ajax are twice the team Molde are, our players will buckle under the atmosphere as we did in Malmo..

Come Thursday night, am sure i'll have indulged myself in what Amsterdam has to offer so the result won't be too much of an issue :56::icon_mrgreen:

They were 30 pointsish behind last season, I think they will get much much closer than that this season.

I think they will come 3rd and PSV will win it again but I dont think Feyenoord will be miles away like last season. Could see them getting within 10-12 points of the top.

Same im going as well :50:

Aye unlikely we would do them 3-0 but what I meant is they're not to be respected with * saying they will pump us as if we are playing Valencia or Roma or Liverpool or someone, they're a team a bawhair away from our level.

I dont think Molde are that bad, a lot of our fans write off teams like Molde, Malmo, Maribor and that when they arent actually too bad a teams.

Just look at Molde's recent European results theyre not much different to us or Ajax.

Last 3 years they have beat Stuttgart and Heerenveen both home and away, drew home and away with Legia and Dinamo Zagreb, knocked out Standard Liege. Us and Ajax arent capable of doing much better than that ourselves.

I don't see us getting pumped. I have watched Ajax a few times this season and they are not looking solid at the back any more then we are. Having said that I would be surprised if we didn't get beat given how unsettled defensively we look right now. A point right now would be a fantastic result for us. But that even looks like a long shot right now.

Think it suits Ronny to be the underdog and we are set up for counter attacking football.

The only problem with preferring underdog status is that in 95% of games we are favourites.:97:

Think a lot of folk were wrong to write Malmo off as they did.

The reason i dont think we will struggle as much there is it wont be as intimidating. It's been mentioned a few times here recently but this team aren't playing well at this big occasion when the opposition fans are up for it, even Aberdeen FFS!!

Must admit i wasn't aware Molde had that good a record, we're utterly * then :56: so long as we show some good fight & heart in these games, i'll be happy. Unfortunately we aren't gifted with the talent we use to be!

Going into this with zero expectations.

Anything other than a defeat is a bonus, right now.
