Just lifted these comments off another site, meant to be quotes from Sno, if these, his accusations are true then it´s a discrace if he was made to feel that way.

Sno cites polite racism as reason to leave Celtic by Darrell King.
Evander Sno cut an impressive figure at an improvised press conference at the Bejing media centre, just a stone's throw from the Bird's nest. Speaking in both Dutch and English, Sno conveyed an image of calm and tranquility whilst politely answering questions from both Dutch and foreign journalists regarding his move from Celtic to Ajax..
There was a sense of what might have been in his comments, when he tried to explain why he was leaving Celtic prematurely. In the usual mixture of deference and tact, he expressed his thanks to the Celtic support but pointedly failed to endorse manager Gordon Strachan.
However, at one point in the proceedings Evander Sno did hint at a 'polite' and casual culture of racism at Celtic Park. "I found it strange that Bobo Balde and I have been sidelined, when it is clear that we are capable of making a major contribution to the first team". Visibly angered, Sno then went onto say; "I have read that certain players in the recent history of the club have had a very short stay. Oliver Tebily, Reggie Blinker, Mo Camara, I really don't have to elaborate, do I ?".

Surely he's not hinting at what it appears he's hinting at.... surely not?

Strange thing to say if he didnt feel it to be true.

Not saying there is any Racism within Celtic park but someone in his position would be more sensitive to these things, you would have to take his comments quite seriously, from Celtic´s perspective.

Balde was a hero - of sorts - for years though, Sno did get unfairly booed at times at Parkhead though IMO.

well its certainly not the support, i would be outraged if this was the case behind the doors at parkhead ,but this is not a newspaper talking here it is the man himself ,thats a worry ,but in defence i would say the players he mentioned all had a fair crack of the whip at parkhead

Either somebody is takg the * or Sno is taking illegal drugs.

I have to agree though that Oliver Tebily, Reggie Blinker and Mo Camara, were moved on for a sinister reason.

    THEY WERE PISH

Donati has been booed, we must be anti-catholic eh

if he really said that then it's a very poor excuse. blaming each and everyone but himself. He was just not good enough to play for celtic.

Oh yeh no doubt in my mind about that. The majority of it started after the game against Hearts in the CIS cup where he was really poor.

It would have been better if he had have explained that one. Yes he's leaving the club for the same reason as these three, with the similiarty being the same as they're all *! Mabey if he played like Agathe, things might have turned out different for him. But anyway, all the best sno :bbpd:

Have to agree tho that the bobo one is a bit strange, he was frozen out for no apparent reason even when Caldwell was shocking since he got here and the whole way threw, untill March we've been told (when he then turned into our best player:86:)

great news. absolutely delighted he's gone one of the worst players iv ever seen, will never forget the image of 2 irish league players nutmegging him for fun during a friendly a couple of years ago.

and after reading his comments about "racism" im ever more happy he's away what a complete *. what a total act of disrespect to the manager and players who have won 3 titles in a row. the players in the team are playing instead of you because they are FAR SUPERIOR players than you not because their white. :47:

He's put himself in among good company eh:icon_mrgreen:

I think he's clutching at straws by playing the race card. That said I thought the treatment he received from some of the crowd last season was disgraceful.I am certain though it wasnt racially motivated.

Good luck to him at Ajax.

Maybe the big man should look at the guys that he mentioned? Camara? Tebily? Blinker?

Bobo was a hero until his standards dropped and Big Evander hardly set the heather alight in his time with us.

I know you said it was not racialy motivated and I am sure that´s correct, Hawever I was not aware of any abuse from the fans towards him at all, Was it that bad?

BTW I don´t think he was meaning the fans, as from his comments he thanked the fans

It makes little sense to me for Sno to use race as an issue ,if he didnt feel it to be relevant.

I mean if he wanted to have a dig at Celtic surely it would have been easier to direct his comments towards the manager, the standad of scottish football or the club itself. Why make it racial, it seems very strange indeed to try and label anything to do with racism at Celtic. As a reason for not getting a game, if it wasn´t an issue for him.

I agree it would have been best if he had explained himself further. I think though their will be more to come out, as I would imagine that Celtic won´t want to be tarnished buy his comments.

I must say though that I agree with you in regards to Bobo, he was frozen out when it was clear we needed him.

I think that´s his point, he believes he was not given enough of a chance, not because of his ability but for sinister reasons.

I think more will come out, as this is quite serious, would be interesed to see if Celtic will issue a statement.

    ^^ nice name :50:

thank the lord, though i wouldn't of mind a loan deal to another SPL team tbh just to see if he could actually cut it. now all we need is Bobo, Killen and Donati to follow him out the door and Maloney and a left back in and i'd be satisfied, any more arrivals would be a bonus.
