    Why all the desperation for greedy mcgeady? When he left the hoops he became an abject failure, ending up a bit part player with everton. Now, if you don't think we have a better team than everton's bench warmers then we have a problem. He may find his form again if he came home, then again maybe he wouldn't. Please stop saying he's better than what we have because he isn't. It's all based on performances he had years ago in the hoops. He ain't the same player.

    How many times has it been posted that he has 80 something assists in his time here, yet people are still calling him greedy ? If he can set up 80 goals whilst being greedy then by all means bring the greedy * home.

    I think most people tend to focus on his last season, where he was trying to take on the world on his own.

    Mostly because the genius of Tony Mowbray had Samaras and Fortune up front, my enduring memory of that season is McGeady tearing down the wing, looking into the box and Fortune and Samaras were nailed to the opposite corner flag with no * in the box.

    Hence McGeady turning around and trying to beat * himself.

    Only changed with Robbie Keane, McGeady set up half his goals as well though. He's extremely creative for us.

    Of course it does. What did they pay us for him? £10m to £12m and what did everton pay? Approx £1.5m? Sounds like he set Russia alight.

    He failed in Russia and he failed at everton, but hey he may come good for us.

    He was in final 5 months of contract that's why they got him for £1.5m he had signed a pre contract with them like GMS did with us
