There's a * of a lot to be argued for an experienced Champions League/International player.

Is there though? I mean look at what we are operating in nowadays it's *. He's tried tested and we know what we will get. He'l work well and he'l work his socks off.

Whats he on at Everton? Would he be on 40k a week maybe? I love him and hes got that quality were he can do the unexpected- i duno though i could see other teams matching his wages in england.

How any Celtic fan could be against this is beyond me, at 1 million it could potentially be one of our best signings in a long time.

Why would they rate him, he hasn't done much for them. They operate in a different market. Of course we'd rather have Deulofeu than McGeady if we could, but that's not an option.

None of that changes the fact that McGeady would improve us at this moment in time.

If he wants to come back for a major wage cut,we should jump at it.
    * all the moving backwards crap, picture we are drawing in a tight game after sixty minutes, you look to the bench and Mcgeady is coming on,you know he will make a difference.

I think he's overrated. I thought he was frustrating to watch when he was at Celtic and it was a miracle that Celtic got so much for him. Not sure how good he was in Russia but he's not looked that great when I've watched him for Everton.

Don't want him back, gms and Forrest are much better wingers and I'd rather janko comes in as potential winger I never rated McGeady he has trickery but his end product is horrendous, even worse than forrest

Forrest is never fit, fair enough last 6 months exception, how you wouldnt want a one time £9.5m players for almost a tenth of what you got for him is beyond me no risk at all, knows the club, knows whats needed, put it this way would rather pay the cash for him than Ciftci.

He's one of a number of scapegoats for their * form last season, even though it is fairly evident their troubles stem from leaking goals like a sieve. Naismith is another despite having fantastic early season form.

They turned on Barkley, Baines and Coleman last season when things weren't going their way. 3 player that would cost you the best part of 100 million quid.

Add a striker to that starting line up and I'd be over the moon going into the new season, especially if we can keep VVD.
