Young isnt the player he is made out to be imo.

 

Just saw that young serbian boy went to Man City for stupid money. The way things are going is 10mil even enough for mcgeady considering what everyone else is going for down there? Not a fan of Mcgeady but lesser players have went for dearer.

 

Is it true that Aiden is injured at the moment ?

 

i personally think it may be so the deal can be done in the background, he'd have got interviewed before mcginn about next season if he was imo.

 

He was but was initially included in the squad for yesterdays game at Lincoln but didnt travel so maybe is he still injured !

 

Young is faster, he is less skillful and his final ball is equally as woeful as mcgeady's. I think ashely young along with gabby are two of most overrated players in premier league.

 

I've always thought that young has an excellent delivery.

 

i agree every time i watch young (which isn't week in week out by any means but it's still been more than a few) he just seems out of control. gets the ball and if he decides to run just puts his head down, maybe screams by someone but eventually just runs straight into a defender it seems

 

downing will create a lot more than mcgeady will. ashley young doesnt have good delivery?? u sure ur watching the same ashley young?? these 2 players have great delivery. yeah downing dont beat a player but his delivery more than makes up for it. mcgeady can dribble but still doesnt know when to deliver and even when he does it is usually very poor, he cant pass and his shhooting is woefull. his shots to goals ratio must be the worst in the spl. overall football brain is very poor. if we get £10m for him we have done really well. mon will have to work wonders to make this boy a player in the prem playing big stronger and faster players week in week out. look at mcgeadys record at ibrox. not even 1 decent game there in his whole career. a £10m player who cant get onto a very ordinary ireland team? quick get the dosh for him before he gets found out...

 

Lol I'll tell you what he was doing yesterday, he was recovering from a mass of alcohol from Saturday night. He was at his cousins wedding who is also a cousin of mine. He's not injured at all, he was on the phone to his agent a few times on Saturday, he's going to villa and will receive a signing on fee

With Keane & Bellamy out of the picture according to the recent Q&A Id be happy if we kept Aiden. He still is someone who can get me off my seat watching him.

If he was smart he would stay with us for another year, hope that we dominate the SPL and do well in Europe and hope that he can finally get over the few things that are holding him back from being a real star, then he can get his dream move to the EPL.

For Celtic the best case scenario is that we sell him to Spartak for 10 mill, Aiden goes to Russia, absolutely hates it, learns a few things but just cant stand Moscow and we get him back for 3 or 4 mill in a year or two
