i think its lookn good for martin getting the cash out for us , martin is normally quick to rubbish reports and hasnt said a thing about mcgeady so i think its on !!

10 million is the correct price, why sell for less?? hes our best player when on form no question. whens hes on fire and up for it he is tremendous.
his end product and final ball is not what it can be but is improving as he was hitting more goals last season. put simple if his final ball was spot on and hitting 15 goals season we would be entitled to ask up to 15 mill so 10 mill is correct as this is the only thing he needs to sort and as hes only 24 he will if given enough game time in abetter league and all the onus is not only on his shoulders as it is here at times.

it will be sad to see him go if he does but was going to happen one day. would wish him well and sure he would do well.

must add dont need to go and buy a replacement either as we have McGinn who is vastly underated and has a delivery and shooting ability and would love the chance of cementing a place.

If Mafrtin O'Neill is offering this sort of money then I'd be delighted to see him go. We could use that for a LB, CB and striker. If we can also persuade David James to come on board then I thin we'll have a fantastic squad for the new season.

If Mon actually offers 10M, I would hope our next negotiating move would be to agree a percentage of any sell-on fee. MON has already been at Villa 4 years, and the chances are he could be moving on before too long. So there is a decent likelihood any future manager who is not as confident of his man-management abilities may look to punt Aiden. If we have a built-in percentage of that deal, it could prove more valuable than asking for 12M and getting 11M.

I don't want him to leave, but if he wants to move, a decent offer is on the table, it should be dusted and done ASAP - so we can move on.

 

10 mil? Hard to see him go but he has to for that money. That money (if its directly invested) can seal up the SPL this year and next year if spent wisely. 10 Mil is a ton, its a freaking warchest for one player, sorry to see Aiden go because I think he can be a great but his days with Celtic are done by his own admission. That money could be spent to see Rangers off for quite a while.
