back on topic, i'd sell for £10m and use the funds to hopefully sign bellers and try and get gallas (free agent) and maybe lawrence to replace aiden..

If we sell him the cash could be used to sign 2 experienced centre halfs, sell loovens and odea and use hooiveld, misun and rounge as back up.
There are options out there, campbell still contemplating his offer, gallas considering an offer of 25g a week from panathiniakos and 1m signing on fee, ramos available for 1-2m, If prices quoted are correct.

This would leave plenty of cash for a class striker, a goalscoring midfielder and a goalkeeper on a free or on loan.

 

Villa are a top team. They have won just as many european cups as us (1) and more recently than us (1982) They play in a better league than us. On you go Mcgeady son get us 10mil for you and thanks Martin You might just win us the league with that money.

 

£10m is a great price for McGeady, the board have stated Lennon can spend what he sells so I would try buy a top striker spend up to £5-6m on him and get in a CB and LB also. The guy wants a new challenge and thats fair enough, if he goes I hope he does well.

 

10m is the best we can hope for and it will go a long way to helping us get the right players would love to see us buy Bellamy for around 5m and then I think we could get at least 2 more players with the rest of the money.

 

Did the board defo say that? Thats great if they did, it shows they have faith in Lenny to give him that kind of money. If we get 10mil for McGeady nd spend it wisely it really could bring players that could bring and keep success at Celtic for a few years to come. Rangers won't and shouldn't be able to get near us.

10 million pounds for mcgeady is like 5mill over what hees actually worth so of course id take it for a player who dosent score goals, cant cross a ball and has to stand out as an indvidual instead of as a team, with that money we could get 3 players twice the quality of him
