he wont be going to a bigger club if he moves to england either but they're still better, the only reason mcgeady wouldnt want to move their is culture change

Just because they have a couple of teams better then ours doesn't make it a step up.

I wouldn't consider Portugal a step up but they still have a couple teams better than us.

i cant not be a step up, its a better league, better teams, and more money also the russian league is overall better than the portuguese too

They're saying on Reporting Scotland that the deal would be the biggest outgoing transfer in Scottish Football history. That means the bid must be over £9million then. If Spartak are offering more than £9million I'd take their hand off.

 

Yeah just seen that there mate, it will be 10 or 11 mill i think, this sale is to make up for not getting into the champions league but if we do get in then we'll be super rich.

9 million's excellent dosh, but in terms of players, will we push the boat out.. or use that 9million on a couple of players that could be good, end up here, have medioka seasons, and get replaced.

the bid is definitely from spartak. He would have already been away by now if it was from villa, i've read the offer is £9.5 mill but i'll be surprised if McGeady moves to Russia. The main positive to come out of this is that it has set the bar very high for any premier league club who might come in for him.

make no mistake McGeady wants to leave but why would a home boy like him who likes the nightclubs with his mates want to go to Russia!?
