This is also a thread on the gb forum some people r never happy having a good rant about the cost. They think the aicsc is out to make huge profits paranoid or what . I tried to explain this is a charity dinner and all proceeds go to charity.

I can assure them that this is not the case - ticket prices have remained frozen for the past 3 years and indeed the hotel room rate we have secured has fallen from E115 to E69 in the same timeframe. The admission fee includes a 3 course meal with tea/coffee, high quality souvenir programme, gift and two bands. There are high security costs associated with holding an event of this size, not to mention hall decorations and awards for the guests on the night :50:

Some folk are never happy :86:

It will some day alright - Q&A should be over at about 4pm so that gives bhoys 4 hours in the bar before the dinner even starts :icon_mrgreen:

The AICSC dinner and q and a session with lawwell and lennon is fast approaching ( 3rd july ).

I am from Belfast and heading down to this . We our also staying the Sunday night and heading home on Monday.

Is there any good club nights in Dublin on that Sunday night. I used to go to Spirit but I am sad to here its closed.

Also this is my first time at the dinner whats it like.

I see there is already a thread on this but I decided to make a thread here as the dinner is only a week away.

[IMG]Snooker Legends offers an outstanding display from some of snooker's greats. Featuring Jimmy White, Alex Higgins, Cliff Thorburn, John Parrott and John Virgo this spectacular showcase will be played live in Citywest Event Centre on July 4th 2010.
