Was brilliant against Hearts on Sat..there defense couldn't cope with him rampaging down the flank.

after hooper i think hes my next best player well player i like most, love and old style winger and dont think we get the ball wide and into box as much as we should ,we tend to play infront of teams and dont yous the width as often as i would like, hes also third in the spl assist charts with 8 assists in the spl this season

A fantastic signing, putting together a great run as well. For his age, he is frightening.....and as well as that, he's here until 2016 if we want him. * superb.

I honestly believe he has all the attributes to be a top class winger for the next few years then drop back to R when he gets on a bit.

    Potentially our next Danny McGrain???

The idea of Lustig behind him at RM is very promising. Bearing in mind Naeneck does have injury issues, it is a very handy back-up plan.

Matthews has 9 assists this season, 8 SPL and 1 Cup agaist Raith Rovers.

Overall for us he has 10 assists and 1 goal 66 games. He only got 1 assist last season.

Some stat in terms of progression as an attacking outlet, bearing in mind we are still only in January.

He seems to get a few anytime he's let off the leash. Didn't happen as much last season, probably because Forrest was ahead of him who tends to take up the entire attacking 3rd on the right when he wants to.

Easy to forget he's so young.

Had a great game on Saturday.

The way he handled being played out of position against the best team in the world shows you how much potential he has.

All the talk of big money moves is dominated by Hooper, Wanyama & Forster, but give it a few years and Adam Matthews will also earn Celtic a very pretty penny.

think hes going to turn out to be a gareth bale, we will have to move him forward out of necessity anyway, with forrest out injured and lustig performing amicably and it could turn out a treat for all parties considered

He just gets better and better, he's edging towards Hoops and Broony in my favourite player category!
