Celtic have signed Irish internationalist, Adam Idah, on loan from Norwich City until the end of this season.

The 22-year-old forward came through the ranks at Norwich, and has made 115 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals, including seven this season.

Adam has also been capped 22 times by the Republic of Ireland, scoring three times for his country.

Speaking to Celtic TV, Adam Idah said: “It’s such a huge club with such a big history behind it and I can’t even put into words what it’s like to be at Celtic.

“My family and my friends are all delighted that I’m here and I just can’t wait to get started. All of us back home support Celtic so it’s huge for me and I’m so excited to be here.

"I want to play games, I want to help this team and the aim for me is to win those two trophies and I want to score a lot of goals for this club

Sums this window up pretty much... we sign an overpriced striker on loan from an expensive market with no option to buy, who allegedly can't hit the side of a barn door. Killie get Kevin Van Veen, who at least knows how to hit the back of the net, which would've cost a fraction of what we are no doubt forking out to Norwich.

Not saying Van Veen should be the level we are looking at, but if we were only just looking for a striker to get to the end of the season, which we effectively have by this Idah signing, then seriously, Van Veen can at least point to being able to score goals.

Best of luck, I reckon you're gonna need it. When Oh comes back I imagine the game time will be minimal.

Criminal that this is only our second signing of the window. 2 hours before it * closes

Noticed that. People might think that's nothing but it's not the norm.

Nadir Ciftci or Colin Kazim Richards levels of excitement about this tbh but hopefully he proves me wrong and I'll still support him as I did them and many other duds.
    Welcome.
