Let's say instead that we secretly think he'd be worth 9 but hope to get Norwich down to 6 by saying that's what we think it's worth. Well, we've no chance, because we already implicitly accepted a valuation of 9. It's a bit different with Bernardo and Benfica, where we can plausibly argue that after seeing him for a year, our valuation is no longer 6 million. In Idah's case, he saved our season. They will never believe that our valuation now is lower than in January.

In either case (or anything in between), it weakens our negotiating position relative to a scenario where we didn't sign an option to buy at 9 million.

Would be a very risky signing. Has not proved he can score goals consistently at the highest level and has a questionable attitude. Never mind his connection to a member of the Kinahan crime gang.

Don’t know much about him but he’s been rank every time I’ve seen him. Also how often do you see strikers move from Holland after scoring a ton and disappear. A very high scoring league due to the openness of the teams.

 

I dont give a * about value any more. I just want a skriker who score goals. The board pockets the value anyways

No way IMHO should we be going anywhere near Parrott. Even if you ignore his attitude and off the field issues he has done very little on the field to suggest he is worth pursuing.

 

What's his off field issues? He just knocks about with proper people?

He was massively rated in Spurs academy as a future Kane replacement but don't want him here. No good enough. Had pals say at Millwall he was dog * beyond belief..
