Same, he needs to start another game to have a look at him, feels like he's not played in quite a while now.

It does show how bi-polar our fans can be, before yesterday most people were for signing him, now it's the opposite.

He has a good game in the final and the pendulum will swing again.

Send him home with our thanks, still think we could get a better striker for 5 million that he would potentially cost.

Played a massive role in getting us back to the top of the league but if it were a straight shoot out between him and Miovski, if we're even interested in him, I would take the latter.

Strange, lump this up there with that HipHoPAddict nonsense.

Don't think a single person has denied he's done well in his time here and isn't as bad as the vast majority of us thought he would be.

It's not an evil thing to say though, he isn't worth £5m to us and at that price shouldn't be signed.

Some would rather be angry at fellow fans for holding an opinion, rather than just actually support the teams and the players they pretend to stand by so blindly.

I still like him and he will improve. Would be happy to sign him as he’s made a huge difference to our season and has already shown he can do it against them at Ibrox. Every striker misses chances.

Some of us have standards that we want to see met. You keep on pretending all our players are class and anyone demanding more is a hun.

Were they? Since he's joined it's been very mixed, and I'd say over the last few weeks it's been verging more towards people not being arsed about signing him.

If he was available for a couple of million, he's worth a punt. But for £5m+, we have to be doing better.

    Exactly.

People want us to spend 5m+ on 4-5 players to take us up a level.

Is Idah of the required level to do that? No.

So for me, better to go get someone who can take us up a level.
As you say though, for a couple of million, he'd be good to have. But not at that price.

Not just here, but the minute it was rumoured he wanted to join us, you had people clamouring for us to sign him.

One bad game and it's the opposite, he's suddenly * in a few people's minds.

I think, even removing Idah from the picture, we're bad for it as a support. Starfelt is a good example of this, guy was fantastic 9/10 games for us but he had a couple of ropey games and that's all a lot of people remember him by.

Back to Idah, If you've been on the fence about signing him prior, then that's fair, but I think people base their emotions too much on individual games.

Idah's an alright player who's done well for us, £5 million is on the pricier side but.

I think football fans in general are very reactionary, not just our support. In Idah's case, it sort of makes sense though. He hasn't really strung together a bunch of good performances, and he usually starts as a sub.

I just don't see what some others are seeing in Idah. He's strong, mobile and can hold the ball up well. But he's so flakey in front of goal and his decision making has largely been guff in those counter attacking moments.

As i said in CCV thread....idah in recent games, especially against them, has been guilty of a sheer lack of awareness. Not quick enough to release the ball across goal etc costing possession and putting us under more pressure.

I like him but undecided at the moment

I do think he's a player who can go up another level or 2 under Rodgers, still only 23 and this is the best he's looked in his career. Completely different player to Kyogo as well so it does give us something different.

I think it's just the price tag. If it was £3 million or less it'd be an absolute no brainer, but at £5 it does make it slightly riskier, people mention Miovski but I think Aberdeen will want more than £5 million for him, so the same argument does apply there as well.

People are begining to see why norwich dont play him,at the moment hes average but to be fair to him pethaps if he was to start more games over time we may see some improvememnt.

Guess we would all like to see a top class striker brought in but who knows if that will happen.

Can't see us paying what Norwich would want and to be honest I'm not that bothered.. fair play to him for his effort and scoring some important goals but I'd be surprised to see him in the hoops again, I can live with that

Really disappointed with his performance yesterday as I've really enjoyed him here.

I don't get why you wouldn't square and set up a dead cert goal in those scenarios/chances. You do that and the * absolutely collapses and then even more opportunities would likely appear and youd get a goal. Just don't get the greediness.
