Early days but I feel he’s a better player than Giakoumakis. Giak was a bully and a killer in front of goal. Idah is a much better technical footballer and seems to have a bit of killer instinct in him as well. If I could have one permanently it’s Idah all day. Age comes into that but even regardless of age it’s Idah for me.

As I said, early days. Giakoumakis fired us to a league title. Let’s see if Idah can do similar.

Same here. I like him and think he’ll only improve as the games go on. Could be a good striker in Europe with his hold up, pace and strength and aerial threat. GG was terrific for us but never really trusted him in the bigger games like Rangers
    or Europe.

Not getting overly excited about him yet, early days, but he does has a bit of the Moussa's about him

I still think he’ll be up and down in the eyes of the fans because his finishing is sketchy.

However, what he’s now shown is he has world class heading in his locker as well as class one touch 6 yard box finishes (plus he can hit a pen).

Importantly it looks as if he’s taken to being a Celtic player like a duck to water.

Seen Idah a lot for Ireland as well mate. I was distraught that he was who we were turning to until I looked into his situation a bit more. There’s a massive difference between playing for Ireland and playing for Celtic though.

Being big, strong, quick and good with with your feet is so valuable in todays game, especially for a striker.

Don't think I'm getting ahead of myself when I say he is the greatest Irish striker of all time.

He was fantastic, that's two ridiculous headers in a row he's scored.

I've noticed he's surprisingly skilful on the ball as well.

As much as I love him, Kyogo shouldn't be a guaranteed start currently, Idah fits this system more.

Your logic is honking considering the fees we’ve gotten for strikers in the past.

That header was ridiculous, absolutely no right to score it at all.

Can be raw at times but deffo has something about him and is doing the business.
