My vision doesn't extend past today

 

Listen man I know it sounds like I’m * on the guy. But we need to keep progressing as a club and improve in areas we’re clearly light in quality in.

Unfortunately Idah has had more than his fair share of opportunities.

Would love nothing more than to see him go on a powerful run of form, win us the game today and the same at Ibrox etc.

But it just isn’t something he looks capable of doing on a consistent basis for us. And at 24, we should really be expecting better

 

Got a feeling he's going to get a couple today.

 

3 or 4 goals over the next 5 games should be a realistic target for him

He is never going to be a 30 a year man

 

We even get offered half our money back we need to punt.

Will score goals for us but his all round game is poor. He's the type to play well when we are well on top of a game and creating plenty of chances.

 

Think we need a striker..

 

We need better and as soon as possible please

 

If Idah was replaced by any other SPFL striker or even a teenager from the B team I genuinely dont think we would be any worse off. Just doesnt seem to get involved at all.

There was one moment in the first half where he crossed it into the box from LW.

He should be the ones in the box, Maeda was next to him too, his positioning is so poor.

 

The moment in the first half where he took a * touch won it back only to overrun it then foul pretty much sums him up recently

 

See I don't think our style of play helps the Striker, you seen it with Kyogo and seen it a bit today with Yamada, so obviously that's going against him.

His positioning however, is absolutely horrific, he's never in the right spot, he's often in midfield or out on the wings.

Ran out of patience with him tbh, would take anything sort of bid now. If he starts against Falkirk then Rodgers has learned nothing.

 

Drop him to the B team, thinks he’s the bollocks but he’s a donkey.

 

Hoaching. Disgusted he's our £9 million first choice striker.

Total imposter. What makes it worse is I think it's affecting Maeda's game being stuck out wide.

Fortunately for Idah though is our lack of fit wingers. But as soon as Jota is back fit Idah will be back on the bench. At this point we might as well just loan him out he is absolutely useless. I rather go into the season with Kenny, Yamada or Osmand

 

Just exactly what I expected from him today. A waste of space.
