Always have the impression hes a better impact player(coming on as sub)than someone who starts a game.

But giving the way things are going for him id like to see him start for us next game nd see can he continue his bit offine form.

They'll probably offer us SVH on loan, as he's not getting a game.

Certainly has to start Wednesday after putting in that performance and getting 2 really good goals.

The fact he can hold the ball up means he’s immediately better than Oh, even forgetting his goal contributions.

He’s a far more accomplished player.

We cant drop him now. No chance.

What is annoying is he probably is the only right thing the board has done for us in a while..........and we dont even have the option to sign him permanantly. I like his style and we've not had a player like that since the Greek........another that we slip through our fingers

    "Anyone can score in scotland"

We'll easily have the chance to sign him. Sure it may cost a bit more but if he wins us the league, pay it. We go on about £60m sitting in the bank. Closer to 120 by then :56:

Oh can hold the ball up well too, but Idah showed great instinct to get into a goalscoring position and composure to get the job done.

Aye they are about the same in terms of ability on the ball though i'd argue Oh is slightly better on it. Idah has better movement though and looks like he might be able to step up when the big moments come. Time will tell.

Folk don't want us to chuck large sums at random players, we want to get the best for the money we spend still.

It's the same with Miovski. No one doubts Miovski would do well here, but is he actually worth the price tag considering what else we would be able to target if we scouted properly?
Same goes for Idah - maybe this is his spell which kicks his career on and maybe he can do well for us, but he was a lazy loan signing without much scouting done. Should we then go and pay over the odds to keep him ? Probably not, when actually doing some scouting work we could probably find better for the price tag we will be quoted.

I'd rather spend on someone I knows good. May cost more but you don't end up with a 5 year contract for khun.

I read that we looked at him a few years ago so by this point I think it would be fair to say we have scouted him.

The difference he and ccv made when they came on was obvious. It underlines what we’ve been missing… physicality.
Teams bully us these days but hopefully the big man can help change that. Just need a bit of physicality in centre mid and we’d be laughing, been needing that since bring left right enough

    Pace and power.
It’s the same as Iwata brought to the midfield. It wasn’t ticking along smoothly in the first half but you could see he was an improvement in that position

Fair. And for the record, he's started decent so far and if he continues to show his worth, I'm interested as well. Albeit initially without seeing him, I wasn't a fan of the lazy signing.

But where do we call the limit on the fee? If he bags 12 goals and wins us the league, he plays the hold up striker position and looks the part - £5m ?
    I'd say probably about that.
But what if Norwich hit out with £9m?
I'd be raging if we spent that.
You're affording them a lot of credit to believe they scouted in between times :56:

Just because we don't have an option to buy, doesn't mean we can't sign him. If he keeps up form.

If Rodgers stayed after a hypothetical double, he'd know best whom he wanted and how badly. £9m should be paid if he wanted Idah. All hypothetical, of course. The league must be won.
