    It's upto him to prove he can be the number 1 striker here, and he has absolutely not done that at all. Probably thought it'd be a given when kyogo left. * him if he wants away, I'd take a hit on him to get the big useless * out the door.

    Baffles me why there's so much hate for this guy. Not because he doesn't have flaws but more the sheer determination some people have to run him down at every opportunity. It's like they enjoy it. Idah is raw it's true but he does have some qualities too. Like it or nor he scores goals for us. Different types too. He's done enough to earn another season. Apart from anything, we sell him and he and his 20+goals need replacing. We still haven't replaced Kyogo yet FFS.

    He sounded pretty bullish about the season ahead not long ago - so I would be surprised if he was going anywhere this season.

    Realistically though, I dont think hes going to be content here as a 2nd choice. So I think this may be a make or break season for him.

    If by the end of this season he hasnt established himself as 1st choice then both player and club will probably feel its best to move on.

    Still obviously seen as our number 1 striker for now. If we could claw back £5-6m for him I would take it, but doubt that will happen. Far too inconsistent in his all round play. Sometimes he looks top class then other times he looks a bit of a donkey. Has scored some cracking goals and contributed well but feel like we could get a more rounded player for the money.

    He doesn't but even after selling Kyogo he didn't show that much confidence in Idah being no1. And idah tbf didn't really take his chance fully.

    And if rumours of us wanting another first choice striker are true and then again, doesn't give much confidence.

    Most big clubs have 2 strikers who are capable of being the number 1, it's nothing new.

    We don't tend to spend big on two players to play the one role, though.

    My point is more that it doesn't seem like he's going to get a consistent run at being the no1.
