He was excellent tonight, his link up play, the runs he was making, when he ran the channels or chose to stay in the middle…

He’s a confidence player 100%, when he’s got his tail up he can be devastating

Another game he can be happy with.
Keep this up and we will be wondering what the worry was about.

Top class striker. What more can you say about him. Worth every penny of his £9M fee.
He's made me forget about GG, so that's something else to say for him too.

This form is something he’s shown he can do, right now there’s zero worry, when he has his tail up and confident he is excellent. The thing with him is when he’s not confident can he still do it. At the moment though, no worries with him. We need to coach him through the rough spots to not effect the rest of his game though.

Brace on Saturday, rest on 60 mins and I think he’ll be chomping at the bit for BM

He times his runs really well. The cup final, against Villa and for his goal tonight.

How pleased are you with Adam Idah’s development and growth?

Yes, he was always going to have to be patient here and obviously the nature of having a brilliant, striker in Kyogo, that fit a lot of how I want the team to play and pressing and everything else. So he comes in and he has to sort of fit around that, but he still made big contributions.

But now I think he's taken that responsibility now. He sees this as an opportunity for him because he knows it's something you have to produce and you have to produce consistently. I'm so pleased for him.

He's just moving different now and again he was a real handful tonight. And his goal was very good, makes a good run, gets his shot off, doesn't lie about the floor, gets up and then he's able to get the rebound and it was a really good finish. So, yes, I'm very pleased for him.

Fans were a wee bit nervous when he was holding his back just before half-time, but is he the type of player that he needs that momentum?

I think a lot of strikers will tell you that. They need games, they need the rhythm, they need the confidence, all those sorts of things. So, yes, you're going to take knocks here and there and you've got to expect it, especially when you are that type of striker.

I thought he was very good tonight

He's the main guy. Its good to have different personalities in the dressing room also and I like that he is showing nothing but focus on being the main guy. He knows that Celtic Jerseys don't shrink and he has everything needed to fill that role in my opinion.

Another game, another goal. A performance to go with it as well. Took his goal very well to be fair as it would have been easy to blast it over. Loving how he has totally stepped up.

Showing a real strikers instinct in front of goal, will be great for his confidence.

The one and only thing that’s changed is confidence. That was plain as day for anyone to see but didn’t stop a lot of people calling him * and a total waste of money. Miles wide of the mark.

He has all the attributes to be a monster number 9, it was always just about putting it altogether and getting him content within himself. That’s happened since the YB game.
