Rodgers is complicit in all this and given what is at stake, everyone involved needs hounding out

Sorry but to say Rodgers is complicit is ridiculous. Absolutely no way in * would Adam Idah be Rodgers first choice. Basically, it’s Idah or no *. Or do you think he is Rodgers man and that’s who he wanted all along?

 

I’m really not that excited about Oh coming back, he would be an okay as a third striker but if we’re being honest he’s miles off it technically.


I think it’s the lack of ambition to actually bring in someone decent to improve us coupled with the usual short term signing pish we always do.

 

This signing makes sense to me, unless of course I was hoping for someone to rival our main striker. We can only play one and I personally think Oh would be reliable if Kyogo got injured. Fact that Idah is young sways me to think this will be a wise signing. Not many will agree though.

 

6 month loan deal with no optoin to buy for a * ST who can't score.

This deal smells a bit like the Oliver Burke deal we did in January 5 years ago to me.

The board haven't learned their lesson from 5 years ago.

 

Why the * are we signing Idah, we have Maeda, who's next? Yerdah?

I can't trust either the board or Rodgers in what they say... Rodgers will only ever speak in a way that purposefully deflects any issues away from him.

In fairness, I was speaking to a guy in Crete (where GG comes from) and he said he was * when he played in Greece but was suddenly good when he went to Holland. I suppose you can never be sure what a change can do for a player.

 

The fact that there is no buy option on this deal just makes me thing that there is absolutely no way Rodgers stays beyond this season.

He's off at the end of the year. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.

 

So Norwich get van Hooijdonk and we get their cast offs. Embarrassing.

 

I was going to say this too GG had about 17 career goals at a few years older than Idah before having that breakthrough year at VVV Venlo.

Not saying Idah does anything here as I know very little about him. We shouldn’t be in this position we were chasing two strikers when GG left a year ago and only signed the younger project one in Oh. It’s just another example of criminal mismanagement of the squad.

I like Idah. He’s not bad at all.

But a 6 month loan with no option you expect a Craig Bellamy or a Robbie Keane. I understand we aren’t in that market anymore but we can surely do better than Idah for 6 months.

 

We used to take EPL "stars" on loan for 6 months.

Now we take Championship dossers who can't get a game.
