I know he took off his boot leaving the field but he looked alright..

 

Lenny said it's touch and go. Might make it, might not. I don't see the point in risking him 3 days afterwards.

 

Would much rather see johansen play the sitting role infront of defence and biton pushed forward.

I would leave him out even if he was ok just because of the cup game,mulgrew gives us strength and know how at the back aswell as those counter attacking splitting balls..
The injury gives lenny an easy decision!

 

I blame the cup game on two wingers there, left Johansen and Broony with far too much to do.

 

No doubt about it,it was poor tactically to go with 2 in the middle and we got mugged off all game..
He and broony were well exposed but it doesn't take away the fact he was shrugged off and bullied and made to look far too lightweight against what will be the same experienced battlers tonight in robson,flood in particular..

 

So was Scott Brown though. If he's fit I would have him Mulgrew and Broony everytime though. Johansen pulling the strings in the middle, don't get drawn into a battle. Keep the ball, play football but we have enough in those three to not get bullied at all as well.

I've been impressed with Johansen's aggresion, tackling and work rate. I don't have any worries about that. What we done in the cup game was stupid, left the two with far too much to do which meant when we either of the two got a hold of the bull we were too far apart to be able to impose ourselves on the game.

 

I've not seen broony exposed like that in years..

Don't get me wrong mate I like him a lot but to stick him back in up there only a couple weeks after the same players had him in his pocket and the reason I say just johansen and not Broony is because we know he can handle the physical side and more often than not he is the bully on the pitch and has the experience of a tough one up at pittodrie whereas Johansen who has been brilliant at harassing and turning over possession but looks to weak in 50/50's and I reckon Aberdeen would target him big time tonight if he made it..

For me it's that discussion we had before about some players beefing up,he certainly falls into that category as he's gonna be our midfield battler it seems..

 

This will be a tough game. I reckon Fraser Forster's clean sheet record will go tonight.

If Celtic play four in the middle he should be fine.It wouldn't surprise me if we played 5 in the midfield and one up front tonight.

 

imo we have to play 5 in midfield or at least 3 central midfielders, we have to respect aberdeen after the last game were we were over ran in the middle of the park

 

This is my biggest fear.

 

If Samaras starts I will be watching the Champions League.

 

I think we possibly could go with the diamond tonight but with the right personel it can work for us instead of 2 wide players leaving us exposed..
If johansen is out then stokes or griff playing slightly deeper than the other..

I honestly think we'll be right up for this and pump them 2 or 3 nothing!

 

Same team as the weekend 3-0 celtic.
