Indeed. It's alll well and good lifting the performance for a one off. The bigger issue is doing it week in week out. All the effort to win 3 points against Celtic only to drop them the next week against Partick Thistle.

Happened to Dundee United and St Johnstone earlier in the season as well.

    Aberdeen revival :smiley-laughing002:

It will all fall apart in the summer when their better players jump ship. They will peak this season and fall away again.

Whose fault is that? His contract and Ledley's should have been sorted out by last Summer at the very latest or they should have been sold then. I understand if you want him away; but if you can think of that game at Ibrox, or Spartak Moscow away among others and want to see him treated like that, then I'm stunned.

Disappointed to lose the unbeaten record especially when I felt we did not deserve to lose. No way was that a red card for me. Yellow yes red no and that clearly changed the game as for the first 10 minutes we were very good and really getting at Aberdeen. Biggest positive though for me was another very good performance by Nir Biton. He really was excellent all evening. Team wise I though we did very well with the 10 men to really pin Aberdeen in second half and get after them.

Never seen any interviews but Lennon surely didn't blame the ref? And say it wasn't a sending off.

I wish Lenny would grow up and stop blaming everything but the team when we loose .

Seems to be the new thing for managers these days, the players can't handle criticism as much

There wasnt really much blame to be placed though, with 10 men its tough and they scored 2 good goals, first one unstoppable and 2nd one good cross and finish.

We got beat cause they played quite well and we had 10 men.

The problem with Matthews returning after his shoulder dislocation is that he needs match time and maybe even knocks to his shoulder to over come the mental part of his recovery .
For a teenager Fisher has played quite a bit and we don't want to over burden .
Lennon is often criticised for his substitutions but they have done ok scoring 12 goals .

This was always going tae be a close one....even if big Dik had stayed on the park...the performance was ok....but Neil shifting the blame again is becoming tiresome

If the sheep put in half the effort against the other 10 teams as they did against us we'd have a good league on our hands...

Pity the record is away, the cup exits hit home a bit more for me now that the record is away.

Yeah we're playing to win the league still, but the upcoming games have now certainly lost their edge.

For me it was sending off, we should have had a penalty and he did let some Dons players go with fouls that could've merited cards.

Thought we did well in the 2nd half.

Think we missed Johansen and his work-rate ,although thought Biton and Brown did well, although Brown's passing went to his normal towards the last 15-20 minutes or so.

Don't like Commons coming off, but he had an absolute Howler, wasn't happy with the perseverance of Stokes, he was awful and should have been whipped off early doors. Back to his one track mind, even saw Griffiths and Biton throwing their arms up in disgust as he tried to do it himself.

Thats about the size of it really. Just wish Lennon would take some ownership post game.

He won't blame the team or any players after he got absolutely slaughtered in the press after doing so in his first 6 months or so here. He's took the Alex Ferguson route.

Every good manager defends his players and if he feels that his team has suffered as a result of bad refereeing decisions , he is likely to speak about them . Even when we win Lennon would nearly always be within his right to complain about the referee. We can really blame the individual Scottish referee as the only way they can get to the top of their profession is by been anti Celtic and pro The Rangers ( if there is The Rangers ) .

Referee had nothing to do with our back four getting completely outclassed. Efe was up the clouds, couldn't figure out left from right and everyone else didn't bother to get off the bus.
