Definite red,vvd deserves an apology from ambrose for that pass,left him bang in trouble..

That Thomsons been blowing for * everything..

I don't think we've played bad at all,ambrose has had a stinker and matthews can't get near Hayes who's skinned him a good few times but the rest have been decent..
First goal was a cracker,someone(biton)should have been much closer to Hayes but worldly of a shot..
Second Rooney gets inbetween mulgrew and efe but when that drops over mulgrew efe should read that and the run but he's nowhere near Rooney,shocking..

Broony's been our best player by far,best on the pitch I think and Aberdeen haven't bullied anyone in the middle tonight..
Red card ruined the game,we had it with 11 and even with 10 for most of it we were the better side and always on the front foot..

Ah well bollocks,clean sheet,unbeaten run,and to this mob again is a sore one to take!

 

A diverse collection of opinions tonight in regards to the rest of the season. Will be interesting to see the numbers who will "jack in" attending games from now on.

Achh it was just some slack play in defense that cost us. Next time we play them we need to change it up, maybe with the pace of Boerrigter, the height and strength of Balde to give them something a bit different to think about. That was too easy for Aberdeen. We gifted them the game and it's that ball out of defense that's crucial.
If we can't handle that against Aberdeen, we should maybe think about trying to play a different system, different personnel than we would normally have too.

Commons is either playing up front or in midfield against Aberdeen, not somewhere in between, because we get caught out. Ambrose just has games like that sometimes and it comes down to him over thinking the pass. They pressed the game and we didn't get the ball into midfield, because it was a risky pass.

Referees, well we get very little protection. Normally if a player kicks the ball away it's a straight yellow, same way as a mis timed tackle is a straight red. Other times players go in reckless against us and yellow cards are just free-kicks. Depends on the referee. This ref anything goes. It was a miss-timed tackle, not a professional foul.

 

Something has happened to Matthews. He was never too great at crossing but he could shut anybody down and could run more than anybody. I remember one instance where he was standing flatfooted as possible and Hayes ran around him like he was a traffic cone. Can't wait for Lustig to get back, but maybe he needs a bit more rest and Fisher should play some.

 

Been shocking since he came back!

 

Forgot about this, yes, very worrying. He wouldn't be the first lightning quick young player to lose some of his pace after an injury.

Aberdeen on the other hand,shocking atmo from them being 2 up and 16 thousand in!

 

Matthews has looked like a liability since his return.

 

In addition losing twice to these sheep shaggers and i have to * live with them, next few days are going to be fun.

 

That was a free kick on stokes right in front of Thomson he let's it go and straight away blows up for aberdeen,*..

Stokes no happy with the help he was getting around him and arguing with broony who wasn't too happy..

Been playing well here anoll,support and team all up for it..

 

I mind actually posting on here, I wonder how long it will take for Matthews to be slagged when he comes back from injury turns out 4 games.

People seem never to realise it takes a while for players to get back to the level they were at before injury.

Everyone who gets injured gets slagged upon returning from injuries like everyone expected them playing at their best Lustig, Forrest, Brown, Izaguirre, Kayal, Boerrigter....

 

Thankfully I missed the game.

Terrible. I know that it was a big ask to go the whole season unbeaten, and something like this was going to happen eventually. But to lose to the same team we lost to a couple of weeks ago is poor.

Disappointed. Nothing to hold on to now until the end of the season.

Pish.

 

That was a penalty Reynolds hand ball,arms were out!

Griffith's ran his are off tonight and gave his all,didn't happen at all for him though,kept losing the ball!

 

He's been * though..

He'll no doubt get better but he's been rank rotten again tonight!

 

Atleast we can freshen the team up now though.

To be fair, in Matthews' first couple of matches back, he was terrible. Obviously he'll take some time to get back up to speed but that was no excuse, he was constantly giving the ball away and making an * of it. I've been saying it for a long time anyway, I don't think Matthews is a great player.

Lustig is miles better.
