Killie were dirty * mate but this felt like constant digs in the back. Idah must've had about 4 alone late on. Rakes down the ankles. Shinnie should've finally seen red on Engels..

It was just constant. I get they have to mix it up at home and with those conditions but they got away with murder. Shinnie getting away with a pull from behind right at kick off said it all. Even that McGarry trying to do Kuhn who stayed up first half running in to the box. No card..

That Nilsen I've never seen someone as lucky in my life. Every challenge a foul. No card. Running to the ref screaming at every dive..

    They done my nut :giggle1:

Nilsen is the type you love if he's yours and hate if not.. :56:

When you compare them to the Huns they have more players who gets under our skin, where as this Hun team have nothing about them.. long may that continue. The Huns will probably finish 2nd but would fancy Aberdeen to turn them over 8/10 times just now.. they just have more about them.

Don't think he found a man all night (unless he was pulling or kicking them) so don't know if I would :giggle1:

Right on that mob though. They're a proper irrelevance, I know for a fact when it comes to it next week their same players will be spooked and chashing shadows..

I am not so sure about that, I think Rangers will comfortably finish 2nd. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think they are great but I don’t think Aberdeen are up to much either. They had a wonderful run at the start of the season but the main leveller last night was the weather.

If I am honest how they played last night reminds me more of Jimmy Thelin, Elfsborg sides. The one we got Lagerbielke from. They tended to be physical, direct and pacey and that’s how they played last night. They tend to rely on width to create and get the ball forward directly to them via long balls. Lagerbielke actually made a name for himself there by having a decent long range pass on him that he often hit from left centre back to their right winger.

I think Aberdeen will recover from this sticky spell they have a home game against St Johnstone then a 2 week break before another home game and until they play Rangers mid January away it is games against the rest, so a chance to pick up form. However, they are only 4 clear of Rangers and likely to be only 1 by the time they play them.

Rangers do have a lot of away games to come before that mid January fixture right enough and us to play.

Realistically if we keep our pace up neither are getting close. It’s down to us to do that now.

Aye, you misunderstood me.. I think the Huns will finish 2nd too, probably not comfortably tho..

But, I reckon in the games they play each other, I'd fancy Aberdeen to come out top, at least at the moment.

Fecking raging with the coverage and post match analysis of our game and the hun game on Sportscene. They covered two penalty claims for Aberdeen yet somehow forgot to highlight our disallowed goal and made it sound as though we were lucky. As for the huns, they were all ecstatic and giggly at just how great they were. I'd fire off another complaint re the obvious bias on that program but I'll get the usual pish reply again.

I think it would likely follow the pattern of Aberdeen get the result at Pittodrie and Rangers at Ibrox.

The fundamental difference is it should be a no contest, as much as there is a big gap between the financial health of Celtic and the rest, Rangers have a huge revenue advantage over Aberdeen but their * poor cost management, general decision making and player recruitment has massively cost them.

It’s actually why there is an off chance most seasons despite Celtic being stronger and better run financially that we only play each other in 4 of 38 games the rest are all easily winnable for both or should be. However, given football is a low scoring game variance can come in.

You just need to look at they had to punt out 5 players, 3 of who heavily featured in their first team and one who was a marque signing for £800k income total. Aberdeen got £6m+ for one of their players, I don’t think Rangers had a player that would command that sort of fee.

Aberdeen do have an issue though in three of their regular players MacKenzie (LB), McGrath (CM) and Duk (Winger/ST) can walk out the door at the end of the season for free, so having suitable funds to replace them could be problematic although they will get ECL group football guaranteed next year.

I agree with you and even more so given how dreadful the weather conditions were which clearly made it so much harder to play quality football and thus very much favoured Aberdeen as it negated us to a large extent. Having said all that we still dominated the match from start to finish and fully deserved to win the game. The ball from Taylor and first touch and finish of Hatate on the winner were sheer class and in the big picture that was the kind of gritty performance and 3 points that truly is the mark of champions.
