I think both of them are better suited for the hectic blood and snotter type games. If the ref does his job then I reckon the sheep will see a few bookings and perhaps a red card if any of our previous games are to go bye

Doohan came on at halftime in Hearts goal. Thought he was to blame for Hearts game but had a decent save near the end. Definitely weakens them I'd say.

Could turn into a bit of a battle given the likely conditions and away against a decent side. For that reason I'd have Taylor, Bernardo, McCowan and Idah playing. I also think Scales is better for this game than Trusty. I definitely wouldn't play Engels as I think he could easily be passed by and disappear in a game like this.
We have such a good squad that we should be picking the team based on the type of game/team we're playing. I fully expect Rodgers to be like most managers and stubbornly select players based on reputation, form in the past and price tag rather than current form and suitability for this game. And make himself look strong against a bit of fan pressure.
The good thing is that whoever we play we'll probably still win.

Rodgers saying in his presser that his team selection on Saturday was with tomorrow in mind.. so I reckon we'll Trusty, Taylor, Engels, Hatate, Kuhn and Kyogo all return to the starting 11..

The sheep don’t get their way, the hammer throwers in them will eventually come to light.

You're probably right. I just hope he doesn't cause a bad atmosphere in the squad by ignoring payers in better form than those playing. Luckily I don't think they're those types of players but if it continued they'd be justified in being a bit * off.

Like you say, I don't think those players are the type.. McCowan for example is living the dream.. they're are plenty games too.

Competition for places is exactly what we need.. it's an excellent headache to have.

The game feels perfect for McCowan. Don't see much logic in starting Engels over him but I sense that's what will happen.

Yeah I think we're probably just a wide player capable of properly pushing Kuhn/Maeda away from having the ideal squad at this point.

If Idah and Bernardo were those types I don't think they'd be here this season.

There will be lots of games in December and January and I think we see everyone getting plenty of game time.
