no mate they were leggy from the kick off and it got worse especially 2nd half

the squad looks quite weak at times like today, youd think kayal, bitton would get the odd games but they seem superfluous, probably indicated their away

then you've got henderson or mcgrreggor in central midfield

very very very tired performance today but delighted the bhoys seen it through

the joy at the end from players and coaching staff was like winning the champions league :56: also good to see ronny letting his hair down i want to see my manager getting emotional at times on the touchline

I'm not surprised we looked tired to be fair. Today is a great win. Even without a midweek European away fixture, Pittodrie is never going to be easy, so to come away with all 3 points after travelling to Romania on Thursday was superb in my opinion. Going down to 10 men just made it even more of an achievement. Absolutely delighted with the victory today, and the scenes at the end from both players and manager was great to see. I still think there is a lot more to come from us, especially on our overall performance, which is still not great, and I don't think it's the level Deila wants to be either, but winning games is all that really matters just now. Onwards and upwards.

Today was my first away game this season and I enjoyed it even though it wasn't the best performance I've seen. After Thursday I didn't think it would be easy

What the game did have was goals, passion, excitement and humour. The, "We know you voted no you sheep * *," together with a blow up sheep being bounced around provided a few laughs. More so when said sheep ended up over the fence :smiley-laughing002:

After going a goal behind it was good to see us fight back and then with 10 men coming home with the win and us back on top of the table. Celebrations at the end are a rare sight these days, so to see Ronny & the players act like we'd won the league was a joy to see.

Looking forward now to watching the highlights.

Did the "Sheep * *, we know you said no" song come from the United fans? Saw it on one of their forums when I googled it. It's a cracker. :smiley-laughing002:

Derek McInnes his usual bitter self in his post match interview. Criticises the Ref for both our goals but no mention of McGinn's dive to get Brown sent off. Also wonder what he makes of his dignified player Shay Logan now having been sent off for using foul language towards the Linesman.

I swear after every game Derek McInnes moans about something. Every game even if they win.

He's priming himself for McCoist's job, a wee fall out with Celtic is a good start.

In relation to the comments about tiredness, it's not really a surprise to me due to the amount of games we have played the past couple weeks and the fact we only arrived back from Romania on Friday night.

If anything, it makes the result even sweeter.

So many excuses in his post-match interview, the fact that it was us rankles a bit more with him. He might as well have shouted "No Surrender" or "WATP" instead of the pish he spouted.

    Anyway onto the game.

I don't agree with those that I've heard say Aberdeen played well. Every * behind the ball and any playing for set-pieces. They aren't a good side very stodgy and physical but don't play enough to make full use of the better players like McGinn and Hayes. Indeed the Brown sending off put the emphasis on them and change from sitting in to come out and try to win the game, to try and play some football. Despite having a few corners and throw-ins they didn't overly trouble us.

Speaking of physical, Mr Muir yet again allowed only one team to compete. His performance was summed up with the booking of Stokes and Brown sending off. Barry Robson had umpteen fouls yet and was spoken to on several occasions before he booked him after 70mins. Brown sending off was a joke and smacked of total inconsistency and an inadequate ref. The incident with Izzy as well. He had no intention of booking Hayes for a needless barge when Izzy was off the field. When Izzy reacted he then had to do something about it.

Stokes booking was laughable, just like Mr Muirs display.

Anyway onto us. Despite the last euphoric minute with Van Dijik's goal, I thought we were pretty average. Johansen worked well, thought Van Dijik and Deynayer defended well and made good contributions going forward. Mulgrew was hoaching and wasted pass after pass.Goes back to what I mentioned previously about not being allowed to compete with a team that plays physical.

Big win nonetheless and we showed a bit of fight for once. A tough away game after a Europa League away journey and we took 3 points. Onwards and upwards.

The sheep are no longer on fire!!!

I could just watch the post match celebration over and over again .Griiff, VVD, Super guidetti, stokes even big ronny singing and dancing along.

I'm not so sure if VVD will be so sure to leave this winter now tbh.

he's trying to be a poor alex ferguson and play the media and his fans and our fans build of a lot of negative tension around us and fixture

in other words hes a *

everything out his mouth is a lie, acting *

creating and developing all that * around us and trying to create a siege mentality up there

he has improved them though, but hes a bitttttttter *

i concur, hes after the fat sallys job

regarding me talking about the obvious tiredness it wasnt a criticism 2 full free days after an away euro game that are always a lot harder than domestic competition then another game away, thats a right * of a fixture in this day an age but we handled it but you could clearly see the players were poor condition because of the lack of rest

Those celebrations at the end were superb and if that doesn't show the spirit of the team and how passionate Deila is about winning then nothing will.

Played well I thought despite going a goal down within the 1st 10 minutes. Denayer, van Dijk, and Johansen were all excellent again. Decent outing for Forrest too, and while he never done anything brilliant some of his runs in behind their defence on the right were good.

Thought the ref was gonna have a pretty decent game as well when he turned that diving wee * Pawlett's appeal of a "penalty" away, but the usual Scottish referee inconsistencies shone through once again with the ridiculous sending off of Broony.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and hopefully we'll start to really kick on now and cement our position back at the top of the table.

When does he never moan about the ref? I didn't mind the guy before but he's a pain in the * now. Always seems to be * moaning about something when his team loses.

The only bad thing about such an exciting finish is that its right before the international break. I don't wanna have to wait for more!

Seen a few complaints about the stokes yellow, to clear that up with today's * rules it's a yellow. Right in front of us he's gestured towards aberdeen fans. Worth the yellow as it wound then right up. As daft as it is this gets you in the book these days same with celebrating too much. Load of * that needs to change.

Who cares? Aberdeen are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Moans about Celtic fans not staying quiet during the minutes silence, and obviously isn't happy about us not having the poppy on our shirt, then later goes on to say that in his opinion politics has no place in football :smiley-laughing002:

    What a weapon.
