Hatate is too good for the bench, if Manager wants to run with same midfield three, then he should be slotted in at RB.

 

I was actually wondering if it may be an option to use Hatate as one of our wide players.

I do think Aberdeen may suit Maeda more than today but if Abada isn’t fit I wouldn’t be against playing him out there given he played there for the Japan Olympic team (U23) and on occasion at Kawasaki Frontale. He likes to pick up space out wide and could easily play on either wing.

It wouldn’t be that different to how Rodgers used McGregor at times during his first spell or Ange did with Christie during the start of the 21/22 season. You also would get away with some of his slack passing more out there and he still would be able to come inside and shoot or combine with team mates to get in behind or beyond the striker.

They played decent the other day but I don’t think they managed to get one shot on target. Think we’ll be fine and nick a couple goals. Shinnie doesn’t seem to have the legs he used to either so think we can definitely over run them in the middle. If Abada is injured I’d consider playing maeda rw and Yang left wing and have maeda constantly running in behinf hayes and getting back in to help ralston with him. 3-1 Celtic

Can't understand people listing a keeper that isn't Hart.

Big Joe is the best we've got and must start until we sign somebody better.

If the other keepers we have were better, they'd have started on Sat, but they didn't, because they aren't.

 

I remember Siegrist was class before we signed him, especially when he played against us. I honestly would prefer him at the moment and even a few games in him could grow in confidence. Just zero confidence in Hart at all now and would drop him in I was BR.. his play at the weekend was horrendous, should have had a red card if their player went down, shocking with the ball at his feet, didn’t collect the cross that they scored from 3 yards out.. absolutely shocking the backups can’t do any worse

Seigrist has absolutely zero intentions of staying here.

He's off to the A league as soon as he can wrangle a decent contract.

Like Starfelt, he's following his *, and it's pretty obvious his burd has designs on celebrity couple status . So no, definitely wouldn't not be starting him ahead of a committed and hugely more experienced keeper.

 

How many keepers have had good games against us. Laidlaw, Clarke, Kelly or even McLaughlin. Wouldn't want any of them above 3rd choice.

 

Hoping an extra week working with Rodgers and how he wants to play. More training in the legs of Ralston, CCV, Nawrocki, Yang that joined the group later to help us kick on and be more organised at the back.

I would like to see Hatate off either the right or left wing. Would give us good control and 4 midfielders in the team all good on the ball.

 

Have we signed any of them though… he’s better than current form Hart end of..

 

So why isn't he playing then.

Joe Hart is our number 1 and rightly so. I hope we will sign a better GK, but until we do Joe gets the gloves.
And I still don't understand why the * some fans think otherwise.
