Well give WGS enough money (all in one season) to sign the modern EPL equivelent of Sutton, Hartson, Lenny, Thommo. They cost about 20 million then and am sure the equivelent would cost ffar more now. The quality has dropped because of money, both us and them and EPLs huge wealth hoovering up the best players from all over the world, even obscure places. Its actually more like the 70s and 80s again.

I think we all agree on the need to drop Mick. he plays the odd great game like at Ibrox but he is a bombscare 3 games out of 4.

That just shows how * we are. Sammy is/was awful and has been since his injury. No idea what's gone on, wether it's confidence or what, but he needs to get a grip if he wants to retain his starting place.

It's depressing to think we had Hartson/Sutton and Larsson at one point. All of our strikers don't compare to one of those previous players.

 

I agree in this sort of game a big ubsubtle player who wins everything in the air like Bobo would be useful but Bobo couldnt cope with any intricate passing on the ground.

They wont beat Rangers. Rangers have decent defenders and Walter Smith knows how to motivate players and teams, he knows they will have a big chance next week and they defo wont blow it.

 

I've heard people on forums talk about how big CB-s aren't good due to their lack of speed, well, here's a reason why that's a heap of *... I'd take Hyypia or Materazzi right now.
