Team for Raith is exactly what i’d go with, perfect game for resting our key players.

 

Could be like this 99% of our games for the rest of this league campaign.

 

Is it on Celtic tv as well as sheep tv?

Must not underestimate teams when we play them on their patch.

We need to score early and be up by minimum 2-0 by half time. Ralston to replace Juranovic at halftime to consolidate at the back. Ralston for me, is a giant for us in away games, all heart.

No need to run ourselves into the wall at Aberdeen or provoke crunching tackles if they get humiliated by a big score. We can do without the injuries. They are a big side so we need to finish them off early and maintain the lead till the end.

Abada's recent goal at home highlighted how important it is to get into the box quickly to get to the ball first. When we get ready for our corner kicks our attacking players seem to be marking their defenders and making their job easy. We are too static. We need at least 3 players facing the ball and running in quickly from the edge of the 18yrd box to get to that ball as soon as its coming in.

Hopefully GG has 6 chances to score and he puts one away. His grafting is getting better but we need more goals from him. Needs to aim away from the keeper.

Totally agree Rogic will start and he should as he was superb in his return at the weekend. Plus he has a really good habit of scoring against Aberdeen and having scored twice on Sunday I can see him getting another on Wednesday.

 

Hatate has really impressed me. The way he plays reminds me of 1970s Greek midfield player Kostas Eleftherakis who played for Panathinaikos FC and the Greek national team.

Everton were keen to sign him and also Real Madrid, who offered a massive transfer fee for him after the Wembley match against Ajax FC. However the head of the Greek FA scuttled any move for the player to have a higher profile in European football by banning him signing for either of these clubs and he stayed in Greece.

Greece was governed by the military junta at the time.

I can see big clubs offering big money for Hatate in the future.

 

I think that's what was most impressive about the Motherwell win, we kept that pressure up well into the second half when before we have died off a bit. Things are all moving in the right direction under Ange.

As for this game, can't see the sheep scoring against us. I'm going 0-3. HH

How do I go about this mate?

 

Games like this and Hearts will be a bigger test than huns.

They will look to stiffle us and choke the game and force to slow the tempo down...things like these teams are used to doing against us..they will ride out the opening stages of the game then look to get set pieces and pile on pressure to get a smash and grab result. It's clear teams fancy their chances of having a go against us then they do the huns.

The difference being huns will always go toe to toe with us and with Ange at the helm with this squad they will lose every time as they don't know how to sit back. Choke a game and stiffle opponents as they aren't used to losing control and dominance of games domestically.

Aberdeen will struggle to cope with our movement, I think this will be similar to the Motherwell game.

Think this mini break from league duty will do as good aswell after this. Home v Raith and can get some of the reserves a game and then a knockout European game to look forward too.

I want us to start this with the same intensity to the derby, they aren’t in the best form (more away from home right enough), we are flying and should be at it from kick off.

I would bring Juranovic and Jota back in to the starting line up. No slight on Ralston or whether it’s Maeda or Giakoumakis, all played well but I think both Juranovic and Jota are class players. Jota is due a wonder game too as he’s getting back up to speed.
